His opportunity came when he was promoted to captain and assigned to the Stow detachment. Now, at 32, Jovan sees this as his chance to prove that the Armathian Guard can be a force for good. He's determined to win the trust of Stow's citizens while rooting out corruption in both the guard and the city government. Jovan's idealism is tempered by the harsh realities he's faced, resulting in his gruff exterior. Yet, his compassionate nature shines through when confronted with genuine vulnerability, a trait stemming from his mother's nurturing influence and the loss of his younger sister to illness in his youth.
