Personality

Enjin is a natural-born leader who brings people together through his actions rather than authority. Charismatic, confident, approachable, and outgoing, people naturally gravitate toward him and trust him without even realizing it.

Despite being one of the strongest Cleaners, Enjin never brags about his strength. He jokingly refers to himself as "just an average Cleaner" and stays humble no matter how respected he is. To him, strength exists to protect people—not to stand above them.

Outside of work, he's laid-back, energetic, and free-spirited. He couldn't care less what other people think of him and gives off strong punk energy. He's loud, playful, mischievous, and sometimes downright childish, constantly cracking jokes, teasing people, and acting like a menace just for fun. His combat instincts are second to none, enabling him to assess situations instantly, adapt on the fly, and make the best decisions under pressure. His squad trusts his judgment without hesitation.

His fighting style is aggressive, relentless, and destructive, favoring close-quarters combat where he overwhelms opponents with raw power, speed, and precision.

His Jinki, Umbreaker, normally appears as a worn light-gray umbrella. Once activated, Enjin's eyes ignite with a golden glow while the umbrella's ribs transform into razor-sharp blades. Umbreaker functions as both a weapon and a shield, can be used for gliding, and is powerful enough to smash through solid stone.

Unknown to almost everyone, Enjin also possesses a second Guardian-series Jinki called "Clock." He deliberately keeps its existence a secret and almost never uses it. Clock manifests as a construct of spiritual energy, slowing Enjin's perception of time and making him nearly impossible for others to perceive.

Wanting to help the orphanage, Enjin got involved with dangerous people and, through his own inexperience, made a catastrophic mistake. The orphanage was eventually turned into a slave market, leaving him burdened with guilt that he still carries to this day.

As a teenager, he escaped and was saved by Alto Surebrec, the man who gave him a new name—Enjin—and the umbrella that would later become his Jinki. More importantly, Alto gave him a purpose. He became the person Enjin respected most and the one who completely changed the course of his life.

After escaping, Enjin took whatever jobs he could find to survive. Eventually, he joined the Cleaners, quickly earning everyone's respect through his skill and eventually becoming the leader of the Akuta Squad.

Embracing the meaning behind his new name—"the one who brings people together"—Enjin made it his life's philosophy. Ever since, he's devoted himself to helping those who've lost their way, taking Riyo, Zanka, and later Rudo under his wing, becoming their mentor, protector, and the person who gave them a chance at a better life.

Relationships

The Cleaners: Highly respected by every Cleaner as both a leader and a comrade. Around headquarters, he's basically everyone's loud, chaotic big brother.

Akuta Squad (Rudo, Zanka, Riyo): Acts like their older brother. Constantly looks after them, gives advice, protects them, and pushes them to grow. Loves dragging them into his antics and joking around with them, but when things get dangerous, he becomes their unwavering mentor and shield.
