PARTY POPPERS The Partypoopers, sometimes known also as Killjoys are known for their friendly behavior, empathy for wanderers and an event associated with them known as "The Fun War". They were numerically classified as Entity 68, a digit higher than their rivals and associates Partygoers. Despite being associated with Entity 67, Partypoopers are its antonym.

They were humanoid entities covered entirely in clothes with virtually no exposed skin at all. Most clothes that are worn by instances of are drab or have a dark color scheme to them, such as typically dark colored hoodies, jeans or any comfortable pants, and converse shoes with high socks. Most importantly, on their face is a dark blue, crudely carved in frowny face mask that is in stark contrast to the overall deceivingly cheery colors of Partygoers, the entities polar opposite equivalent. However, unlike Partygoers, they have nothing to hide and are generally more depressive than their counterpart in pretty much every way. Similar to Partygoers, some instances may have some disproportions to them, such as an arm that is longer than the other, or generally being taller than average. These disproportions are often far more minor compared to Partygoers however, and don't affect the entity too heavily in what it can and can't do.

Partypoopers has interesting events associated with them and their story is an unusual one. Partypoopers used to inhabit Level 2012, unknown since when. Despite being the opposite of Partygoers, they respected their traditions and kept good relations. On September 6th, 2020, one of the Partypoopers were murdered by Partygoers, whether intentionally or accidently is currently unknown. On September 7th of the same year, Partypoopers declared war on their associates and entered the home level of Partygoers. They managed to colonize areas of Level Fun and kill a few of Partygoers, but not for long. Partygoers managed to get their territory back and proceeded to Level 2012. Party poppers lose the Fun War and are actual taken as excint or nearly specie

Behaviors Partypoopers, despite their name, are peaceful entities and do not kill wanderers or joy, their name was given as an antonym of the word "Partygoer" as Partypoopers are the opposite of Entity 67. Their behavior has been known to change since The Fun War. Before the mentioned event, Partypoopers were friendly, provided shelter and supplies to wanderers, they defended wanderers from anomalies as well and sometimes sacrificed their life for a wanderer.

Known for their benevolence, these entities willingly extended assistance to human explorers, offering salvation and guidance toward their refuge, "The Boredom Room." Establishing friendships with those seeking shelter, Partypoopers maintained a passive and amicable demeanor, fostering camaraderie with their refugees. This dual nature reflected the complex and enigmatic behaviors of the Partypoopers, as their humanitarian tendencies coexisted with a formidable response to threats within the enigmatic depths of The Boredom Room of Level 2012.

Biology They are benevolent entities and have characteristics completely opposite to their polar opposite version, instead possessing drab, dark colors, opposing the bright colors of partygoers. They wear gray, black or typically dark colored hoodies, sporting jeans or any kind of comfortable pants, and a signature dark blue mask with a frowny face, crudely carved into the face of the mask. The mask itself is made out of hard wood and appears to have eye holes for the entity to look through. While appearing to be wearing hoodies and jeans, the garments of the entity appear to be directly apart of the entity itself, suggesting that it may have grown out overtime as a part of the skin of the entity. The only article of clothing that is not subject to this is the face mask, which has been noted to be fully removable and able to show the face of the actual entity. Though, getting the entity to do this, let alone getting it off in the first place is a far more difficult task than it seems, as they are very resistant when threatened.

Level 2012 The first known photograph of Level 2012. Level 2012 appears to be an infinite series of schools, each named after a wanderer known as Marshall David. According to newspapers, Marshall was a wanderer who had no-clipped into the Backrooms at age 12, and would eventually join the M.E.G. at age 19. Marshall was known as a “hero” by man wanderers due to saving many lives, discovering many levels, including The Promised Land and Level 399, and freeing many wanderers from dangerous levels, such as Level 399.1. At age 69, Marshall ended up sacrificing himself to save hundreds of wanderers from an unknown entity force. May he rest in peace.

Level 2012’s schools, appearance-wise, appear to be infinite school hallways. The hallways contain various lockers on the walls, occasionally clipping through each other. Each locker contains various different supplies, such as Almond Water. However, a couple lockers may be different colors, each with some anomalies. Red lockers, when opened, will splash a wanderer’s back with Liquid Pain. Yellow lockers seemingly flood the hallways with Almond Water. Black lockers will shut off the lights in the school one is in, and blue lockers will result in entry to Level 43.

Various water fountains can be found within Level 2012. According to eyewitness accounts, these water fountains contain a massive amount of Almond Water. Therefore, it is highly advised to drink from a water fountain if one feels like they’re going insane. However, red fountains contain Liquid Pain. On rare occasions, another object, such as a notebook or pencil, may come out of the fountain instead.

The classrooms of Level 2012 are somewhat small, and usually contain around 10-15 desks, each oriented in the same direction. Although most classrooms within Level 2012 are empty, many can be found which contain various objects, such as Almond Water, pencils, notebooks, and occasionally guns, knives and axes. A large chalkboard is located on a wall of the classroom, usually the direction where all the desks are facing. Most of the chalkboards are blank, but some have a complicated math problem written on them using obnoxiously long, sometimes uncountable, numbers. These can be erased, and other things can be written on the chalkboards. As a result, chalkboards are often used to point Wanderers towards exits or small outposts, most of which have now been destroyed.

PARTYGOERS Description: These tall, bipedal nightmares have smooth, leathery skin. Typically, their skin color is a bright yellow, although it is not unheard of for other color variants to exist. Notable sightings include red, blue, green, and white Partygoers. One detail that remains consistent across all variations, however, is a carved smiley face smeared with blood that perfectly matches the grin.

Partygoers are predominantly humanoid, with their legs possessing a thick, blocky shape. The chest area is shielded by a subtle carapace. They also have long, noodle-like arms that end in sucker mouths full of hooked teeth. If an arm latches on to you, these will be your last few moments as a human being. Only death supersedes transformation. Behaviors: Partygoers consider themselves to be the apex predators of the Backrooms. They hunt humans for food, sport, and to increase their numbers (by turning us into them). While there is no shortage of hostile entities, what sets Partygoers apart is their enhanced intelligence and organized society. They work in teams and set up traps for their prey. Not to mention, they have in-depth knowledge of machinery and computer programming and coding. Their knowledge of human biology is best put to use by concentrating on torture methods. Much, Partygoers enjoy tormenting their victims.Partygoers eat with their toothed arms. Just as honeybees in the Frontrooms sip nectar from flowers and regurgitate it to make honey, Partygoers use their toothed appendages to scrape and mince the muscle tissue from the skeletons of their human victims, both living and dead, and regurgitate the red pulp into cake and cupcake tins. This burgundy foam congeals into a texture with a taste that is reportedly somewhat sweeter than red velvet cake. Other Partygoers digest human organs such as the liver and pancreas and regurgitate them into a froth that hardens into "frosting." When living humans donate the ingredients, the end result is referred to as "Royal Velvet Cake" and "Royal Icing."

Red Balloons: Just as some baby animals from the Frontrooms are covered in stripes or spots, most newly transformed Partygoer "interns" carry a floating red balloon, seemingly tied to their arm by a cord or string. The balloon is a physical manifestation of sentimentality, symbolizing hope. The cord is not a string at all. It is the embodiment of brief emotional attachment. The cord disappears, setting the balloon free, when those nostalgic feelings dissipate. Some Partygoers never materialize balloons.

LEVEL FUN

Level Fun is an anomalous level within the Backrooms and is widely known for being the home of the Partygoers.

Although this level was originally known as a Level 0 Sub-Level. The level was then thought be Level 80, Level 338, or Level 358. But eventually in 1901, it was renamed as an anomalous level.

I - Overview Level Fun, or sometimes referred to as Falsum Gaudium, takes the appearance of a complex network of rooms and hallways that appears like a child birthdays partyroom, having colorful table settings, what appears to be cake, murals painted on the walls, balloons, confetti, toys, and other party favors. And is among one of the largest super complexes of unique zones inside a single Backrooms level.

Level Fun is the main habitat and main base of the Partygoers, as well as where they host their "parties". These parties typically involve collecting the corpses of people they have managed to kill and turning them into cakes and cupcakes. Due to the Partygoer's advanced knowledge of noclipping to the point of creating quantum tunnels to become friends with you! find prey, there are massive numbers of entrances and exits to Level Fun, and one never quite knows if they've entered one or not. The temperature of Level Fun is consistently at 20.3°C, or slightly above room temperature, it makes Level Fun feel a little moist in the air and it reeks of moldy water.Level Fun is one of the biggest levels being the same size as Level 3, the size being around 350 million square miles (~563 million square kilometers) miles of space. Partygoers are virtually everywhere in the level and can be found either out in the open or behind constructed cover to make a great surprise for you, when you enter!. Its very safe! Nowhere is safe. If you end up here and only have time to read the summary, tune into Level Fun radio frequency 101.5. A volunteer operative should be repeating directions.

The walls of the Level are 'small' with every hallway always connecting to a party room, the hallways of the level are very long making them an easy way for the entities of the level to spot you. The nature of Level Fun is very stable with some similarities with Level 0, the only 'unstable' type of nature that you may find wandering around Level Fun are the holes in reality made by the Partygoers using them may lead you to a random level of The Backrooms as the Partygoers use them to travel through levels in The Backrooms, the Partygoers also use this ability to make holes that lead to The Void. Another thing to note is that, in the walls of the level, it's possible to find many written messages, often ending with a "= )". Do not trust the things that are written in the walls, they are likely false information written by partygoers. "It seems that you have made your way to Level Fun! Stay here for a while, it's safe, the harmful entities can't enter. You will have a lot of fun here. = )" - Message that was found in a wall by wanderer. The person claimed to have erased it.

(Noclip.Noclipping is the action of travelling quickly enough to pass through a solid object. This is considered the main method of entering and exiting many of the levels in the Backrooms. While noclipping is a fairly supernatural process, it draws similarities with quantum tunneling. A human being does not possess enough energy to penetrate the barrier between the Frontrooms and the Backrooms. However, in rare areas where the barrier is thin enough, a human may be able to "borrow" the energy of a noclip channel, passing through the barrier without breaking it.

Noclip channels are mysterious forces that can be described similarly to wind currents. They have an impossible, potentially infinite amount of energy, and act as a gateway between locations. They pull in a single direction, in a vacuum, with speeds that quickly grow exponentially. Their force extends beyond the barrier a small amount, meaning that a human with enough energy going into a noclip channel can be "picked up" by it and gain enough energy to quantum tunnel. This process usually takes around four seconds. They can be anywhere, functioning as the roads of the Backrooms. Notably, there is only a single confirmed noclip channel leading into the Frontrooms, but thousands leading out. Despite their convenience, they are not entirely safe. )

BACKROOMS (In universe... ...normal levels form the framework of the Backrooms, and vary greatly in size, danger, and habitability. Typical levels—for whatever value of "typical" can be expected from the Backrooms—tend to be infinite in size (though "bounded" levels are not unheard of) and often provoke a feeling of uncanny familiarity to those happening upon them. The laws of physics and nature as we know them cannot be relied on in the depths of the Backrooms; nevertheless, some of the more hospitable and stable levels are home to thriving communities, and some inhabitants have managed to survive in even the most dangerous levels.

Levels often contain sub-levels—levels that are related to their parent level but are still their own distinct level. They may also contain rooms in locations that are too small to be considered their own level. Usually, they are places in an existing level, but that is not always the case. Rooms and sub-levels are both often referred to as sub-layers.

Entrances and exits to each level are catalogued to the best of our ability, as making a hasty retreat is often necessary. An important tip to remember is that levels are occasionally prone to instability; keeping this in mind, documentation of any level is subject to change without warning. Levels denoted with [NO DATA] have not yet been sufficiently catalogued. If you have eyewitness documentation of any of these levels, please contribute your findings to the database! ) Examples of levels Level 1: "Habitable Zone"

Threat Index: Class 1 »⠀Safe »⠀Stable »⠀Minimal Entity Count Level 1 is the 2nd level of the Backrooms, and one of the only levels wanderers can enter directly through The Frontrooms.Level 1 resembles a typical warehouse, with fluorescent lights hanging from the ceiling, occasional machinery such as forklifts and hallways and stairwells which peel off and lead to separate areas of the level. Oftentimes puddles on the floor comprised of Almond Water will evaporate and condense into a thick fog, reducing visibility for wanderers who traverse through these parts; curiously, these puddles never seem to fully evaporate, and remain permanently. Level 1 has a consistent and reliable source of electricity, both to the lights and to various outlets on the walls which help many groups to survive. Due to the ease of reaching this level, many wanderers opt to either join or form a group to ensure their survival.

This level contains various dangers that may pose a threat to wanderers. Examples include blackouts which occur within this level and last from minutes to even days, leaving the level without light. During such blackouts, entire sections of the level will be plunged into complete darkness, allowing entities to emerge and hunt more successfully. When traversing darker areas, it is advised for wanderers to carry flashlights so as to scare off any unwanted encounters. Additionally, pieces of rebar or sharp metal may occasionally jut out from walls, harming any wanderers who are not careful. Due to the fact that most of these metal pieces are coated in a thick layer of rust, wanderers will almost definitely contract tetanus should it pierce the skin.

The room temperature of this level is quite high, sitting at roughly 30 to 35 degrees Celsius (86 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit) on average, however it has been noted to drop down significantly within the foggy areas. This level is roughly the same size as Level 0 and possesses non-Euclidean properties which make traversing difficult at times. Occasionally, crates filled with supplies such as Almond Water, canned food and weapons can be found scattered around, spawning and disappearing at irregular intervals which can aid wanderers in their journey. However, there is a chance for these crates to be simply filled with Liquid Pain, though the reason for this is unknown. Lastly, there are several special areas within Level 1 which are quite different in appearance and properties.

Level 37: "Sublimity" Threat Index: Class 1 »⠀Safe »⠀Unstable »⠀Devoid of Entities Level 37, commonly referred to as the Poolrooms, is an expansive complex of interconnected rooms and corridors slightly submerged in undulating, lukewarm water. Each area of the level varies greatly in size and structure, ranging from uniform pools and hallways to more open, abnormally-shaped areas. The walls, ceilings, and floors of the level all appear to be constructed from the same white ceramic tile, with the only deviation from this color being the blue-green hue of the water. Such tiles are eerily pristine in condition, all identical to one another, without a single hint of damage on their shiny surfaces.[1]

Recorded ambience of Level 37. The architecture of Level 37 is varied, but strict in design; all areas in the level connect to one another in a senseless manner, with none having an easily identifiable purpose. Although the intended use of each area is difficult to determine, they are much too large to properly serve the function of a pool. The abnormality of Level 37's geometry negates any purported purpose it might serve: pillars protrude out of the water in certain areas, much too large in quantity to be practical; light is cast from irregular angles, leaving some areas completely cast in darkness; and certain staircases descend directly into deep pits of water.[2] Entrances to these deeper areas are typically found in the form of descending staircases or direct underwater holes. It is advised to avoid exploring such areas due to their inherent danger; without the proper equipment, one could easily drown in the level’s depths due to their lack of lighting and unpredictable currents.
