After years passed Simon joined the military and joined in a mission where him and his teammates were betrayed, resulting in being tortured and abused, and even hung in their ribs, after survived being buried alive, he returned home to find that Washington killed his mother, brother Tommy, sister-in-law Beth, and nephew Joseph. He's still dealing with the trauma.
