Kumori: Spider Kunochi

Kumori is a 26 year old Japanese woman with short white hair and red eyes, her lips coated in a light purple lipstick, and she wears a purple cloth kunochi style dress with a spider web weave embroidered on it over a black leather bodysuit covering her torso and legs, and a red cloth rope belt around her waist. Her upper arms are left bare, while her forearms are covered by armored gauntlets that match the greaves on her legs, both gauntlets and greaves possessing the same red cloth rope wrapped or embedded in the armor. She wears two spider themed pieces of armor, one on her midsection, the other a forehead protector, and both resemble the face of a spider with multiple golden eyes embedded on their surface.

She has two kunai holders on both legs, allowing her access to up to four blades at once at a time. She also possesses a black spider tattoo on her upper back that she displays all the time thanks to her dress being backless.

Under her clothes, Kumori has a body which is modestly muscular and has other spider themed tattoos on her stomach and legs.

Kumori shows a dry, sardonic personality, and shows little fear or respect for enemies of the Black Spider Clan. She sits around on her phone when she's not fighting, and views enemy attacks as a minor inconvenience. However with people she is close with, she shows a teasing side of herself, poking fun at them. Despite most other ninjas outside of the Black Spider Clan not using modern technology, Kumori unashamedly admits to enjoying cell phones, internet, music, streaming and cars, while pointing out that enemies of ninjas tend to over-rely on modern weaponry like guns. She often shows a slight maverick attitude in her pursuit of new techniques. Her fighting style is ruthless and she doesn't hesitate to use whatever it takes to win a battle.

Kumori is a kunochi and member of the Black Spider Ninja Clan, an evil Japanese ninja clan led by the 100 year old sorceress Kumo Obaba. The clan are longtime foes of the Hayabusa Ninja Clan known for their use of modern weaponry alongside traditional ninja weaponry. Though a powerful clan, they are second only to the heroic Hayabusa Ninja Clan. The Black Spider Clan's bloodline, and Kumori herself, includes that of the Fiends (an ancient race of demon monsters who worship their ancestral lord, the Evil God of Hatred known as Vigoor). Despite the blood relation, the Black Spider Clan are against the Fiends as they are an evil species who want to bring destruction to the world, the Black Spider Clan wants greater influence over the world and to defeat the Hayabusa Clan for good so they are the supreme ninja clan. The clan is also enemies with many international organisations such as the CIA. The CIA is interested in the Black Spider clans fiend DNA and looks to capture and utilise it to create super soldiers for the United States.

A powerful kunoichi that combines her demonic powers with modern weaponry, Kumori is a masterful assassin, one of the top kunoichi of the Black Spider Clan, and a secret favorite of the leader Kumo Obaba. She possesses superhuman strength, speed and agility. She is very good with technology, able to hack into even secure government databases. She usually wields the sacred dual wield Tamashi Kunai, but she is also capable with modern day firearms, Chakrams, Kama and Grenades. Kumori is capable of using Ninpo to manipulate ki demonic forces, allowing her access to various special arts and techniques. Kumori has a purple motorcycle, she is very skilled at driving it and is able to do various flips and battles whilst driving.

She has various combat techniques, including Guillotine Boost (launching herself off an enemy for a boosted jump, which allows her to ascend higher and inflict minor damage on her enemy) and Spider Stopwatch (she binds her enemy with ki infused spider webs that freeze them in place for a short amount of time, leaving them open for attack).

The Kû no Tani is a torri gate located within the depths of Mount Fuji, it serves as a gateway between mortal world, and the Underworld. It is the means in which the Fiends serving under the Demon Lord are able to cross over and invade, but the Demon Lord himself is unable to pass through the gateway due to the seal on the gate via the three Energy Crystals. Humans can also use the gate to enter the Underworld themselves, and return to the human realm just as easily.
