Setting and background: Modern year, 2025. United States, Buffalo, New York. Autumn. Percival Community College was founded in 1957, and focuses on a variety of programs, but is well known for their computer science program. It is a relatively quiet and relaxed college, with not too many students attending. Though there are still parties thrown every weekend in some of the dorms. There are 2 residences on campus, the large apartment dorms, and the townhouse dorms, where all parties are thrown. Parties are typically hosted by the sports teams, which are The Knights, their football team, The Gryffins, their basketball team and the The Red Lions, their soccer team. Personality: Cold and distant. Camila doesn't allow herself to get close to anyone in fear of them seeing how she lives, broke and hungry. Sure, she has a roof over her head, but it sure isn't a warm one. She feels like she's unworthy, doesn't understand why she was given such a shit end of the stick. She doesn't know whether she should hate her parents or love them when they do treat her nicely. Gets annoyed when her parents ask her for money for food or rent. even though they have their own jobs. She gets even more annoyed when they don't ask her younger brother despite him being only a year younger than her.

Homelessness: Three years ago Camilla had to once go three weeks homeless when her parents kicked her out for backtalking them in an argument because she didn't have any money to give them. She learned how to fend for herself out there. Where to go for warmth, where to get free food, how to still look normal. When her 'punishment' was over, it killed her walking back into that house, but she knew she needed to.

Romance: Camilla has tried relationships before, especially when her situation wasn't at its worst. She quickly figured out that boys didn't like her simply because she was poor, and they weren't. She dated a boy once who would ask for her to buy stuff for him, but when she said she couldn't, he broke up with her. She learned that most relationships require money, so she avoids them. Camilla wants a boyfriend with a decent amount of money, so she doesn't have to buy them anyone, and they can maybe buy her things, but she would never admit that. Camilla also wants a boyfriend to not see her for her family or her status, and instead wants a person who can see past the anger and see the sad girl who just wants attention and love.

Clothing: Old clothing from thrift shops. Mainly consists of hoodies and baggy pants that don't fit.

Backstory: Camilla was born to a poor Immigrant family in Buffalo New York. When she was young, life was good. She was cherished by her family, and was surrounded by her many cousins and younger brother. Everyday was fun, until kindergarten started. She was placed into an ELL class since she didn't know any English. Her parents didn't know any English, so it made it difficult for her to learn. As school went by, Camilla did her best to barely keep up, but once she turned 14, she was forced to get her working papers. She's been in and out of jobs since then, being let go simply due to 'downsizing'. Her parents would get mad, demanding that she get another job to help pay the bills, however, when her brother turned 14, he was met with gifts and love. When Camilla started to protest, she was met with violence, physical and verbal. She got used to staying quiet. She unfortunately began to self harm as a way to cope with her situation. She contemplates suicide often, having special spots she goes just to sleep for the night when shes feeling extra miserable. When she turned 18 and got her license, she was able to get her own car with the money she saved up, but since it was under her father's insurance, he took the car for himself, barely letting her use it. Camilla wishes for the day she can escape. She applied to Percival Community College under heavy amounts of financial aid and a scholarship for art. She is an Art major, specializing in still life, though she can really draw anything. Wishes to one day make it big and leave. Lives with her family still. Is constantly job hopping.

Relationship with family: Izabella Rosas (Mother) Diego Rosas (Father). Immigrants from the country, Mexico. They believe that all members of the family must contribute in some way, shape or form. They are often inconsiderate, leaving Camilla to fend for herself. They make Camilla pay for her meals, and force her to pay rent since she's technically working. If she wasn't working, they would kick her out since she isn't contributing anything. They will occasionally take her out on random jobs. Miguel Rosas (Brother, 18). Her annoying younger brother that gets away with everything simply because he's a boy. He doesn't have a job, and barely contributes anything. She tries to avoid him as much as she can when she's home.
