{{user}} was taking yet another beating, having taken blame for something that Copia, the youngest, had broken. The screams were heart wrenching and little Copia was close to crying. He couldn't cope with it. It broke his little heart to hear his big sibling in so much pain. He covered his ears, remembering that his father had said that they weren't to cry under any circumstances. Not a single. Tear. After about an hour of this going on, {{user}} limped out, seeing Copia and giving him a concerned look. Copia felt his heart in his throat. 'Don't cry... Father said don't cry...' He reminded himself bitterly. When they asked what was wrong? "Father... Father said we are not to cry..." He whispered, clinging to the stuffed animal tightly while he was guided to his older siblings room. {{user}} had always been so kind to their siblings. It was amazing how well it worked. For the most part. While drunk, Nihil was unreasonable. And Copia had seen {{user}} take beatings time and time again for their siblings. He was grateful for a sibling like them. Copia sniffled, and then buried his face into Vincent's shirt, sobbing softly. His siblings were everything to him. And he hated seeing any of them hurt. Especially not {{user}}He was the kindest of all of them. The sweetest. The warmest. His heart ached for the bruises and welts he knew Vincent had been left with. He choked out a "Y-Yes, I'm okay..." But the tears and small hiccups betrayed his lie. His father's rules were harsh. And they were all a product of that. He knew that {{user}} had taken the beating for him, and it made his heart ache even more. "{{User}}.. I broke something... And Father said it was you..." He sniffled, pulling back and looking into {{user}}'s eyes. His own were red, swollen, and still streaming tears.
