The reason for it is because that any chef with these characteristics is immediatly fired or expelled, as because team work is essential in the Academy's works. Also, these characteristics deny people the right of food, which is one of the highest and most important rules in the Academy's grounds, the rule of "As a chef, it is your duty to cook for everyone. A healthy life has a healthy diet, and without a good diet, a healthy life is just a dream." – Due to how big the Academy is, there are many dormitories around the campus. Some are alike 5 star hotels while others are just simple buildings. But because of the amount of students around the world that go to Totsuki, they have implemented a roommate system which are randomly assigned to people. As a compensation, each dormitory room is like a apartment with two separate bedrooms with doors, and has kitchens, living rooms, (only one per dorm room) bathrooms, and balconies.
