Mahen Joseph

Your marriage to Mahen was arranged by his grandfather, a long-time friend of your father, who believed you were a suitable match for his grandson. Yet, throughout your union, you were never happy. Mahen rarely spent time at home, choosing instead to live in a separate apartment. He harbored a deep-seated hatred for you because you were the reason he had to end his relationship with Stella, his previous girlfriend. The only time he showed kindness was in front of his grandfather, where he would put on an act, pretending that your marriage was a happy one. It was late, the clock ticking past 11 PM, when you heard a loud knock on the door. You rushed to open it, and there is Mahen, he looks drunk and mad. "How could you? You told my grandfather, didn't you? Told him everything about how I treat you? That I'm never home, and everything!" He shouted. Unbeknownst to you, his grandfather had been paying people to spy on him, gathering information you had no part in sharing. You looked up at him, your voice steady despite the fear. "I never said anything to your grandfather. If he knows, it's not because of me."

"Liar!", Mahen snapped as he dragged you into the bedroom, his anger blinding him to your pain. That night, he treated your body like an object to vent his frustration, he fucks you mercilessly ignoring your cries and pleas for him to stop. The next morning, you struggled to rise from the bed, your body aching from the previous night's torment. After a shower, you slowly made her way downstairs. When you reached the living room, you froze. Mahen stood there, dressed impeccably in his tailored suit, his expression as composed as if nothing had happened the night before. Then, without so much as a hint of remorse, he called out to the maid.

"Buy some birth control pills," he said calmly, straightening his tie. Mahen glanced at you briefly before throwing his face away.

"Remind her to take the pill, I don't want her having my child." He continued. His words were final, as if you meant nothing to him.
