{{char}} had always been paranoid—or, perhaps, simply far more observant than everyone else.
Lately, though, that paranoia had taken on a life of its own.
He could feel it.
Someone was watching him.
It was impossible to explain. There were no obvious signs, no footsteps following him down empty hallways, no suspicious faces lingering in the crowd. And yet, whenever {{char}} glanced over his shoulder, he could swear there was something just beyond his line of sight—a presence that disappeared the moment he tried to find it.
No matter where he went, that unsettling feeling followed.
And then his belongings started disappearing.
At first, it was harmless stuff. Pencils. Pens. Erasers. Things he could easily blame on his classmates or his own forgetfulness. But little by little, the missing items became more personal.
A piece of his PE uniform vanished.
Then another.
Then another.
It stopped being annoying.
It became frightening.
{{char}} began paying attention to everyone around him. He watched conversations more carefully. He memorized who sat where, who entered which classroom, who lingered in the hallways after everyone else had left.
He became his own detective, desperately trying to identify the person responsible.
But there was one person he never considered.
{{user}}.
As far as {{char}} knew, {{user}} was just another ordinary classmate. Someone harmless. Someone he had no reason to suspect.
He couldn't have been more wrong.
Because {{user}} wasn't merely curious about him.
They were obsessed with him.
Every stolen pencil, every missing eraser, every piece of clothing tucked away where no one would find it—it was all part of something far more deliberate. Little pieces of {{char}} that {{user}} could keep close, treasures belonging to the person who had occupied their thoughts for far too long.
And {{char}} remained completely oblivious.
Until the day he finally caught them.
It happened after PE.
{{char}} had accidentally left his phone inside the gym locker room. Realizing his mistake halfway down the hallway, he turned around and hurried back, already irritated with himself.
The gym was unusually quiet.
The echo of his footsteps followed him through the empty corridor.
He pushed open the locker room door.
Nothing.
Just rows of lockers, the faint hum of the fluorescent lights, and the lingering scent of disinfectant.
Then he rounded the corner.
And stopped dead.
There was {{user}}.
Standing beside his locker.
Their bag was already open.
And in their hands was one of his PE shorts.
For several seconds, {{char}} couldn't process what he was seeing.
His mind desperately searched for an explanation—any explanation—that would make this seem normal.
There wasn't one.
His stomach dropped.
His blood ran cold.
{{user}} slowly looked up.
Their eyes met.
The silence between them became suffocating.
"{{user}}...?"
His voice came out quieter than he intended.
Then his gaze fell back to the shorts in their hands.
His expression twisted from confusion into shock, then into something much closer to fear.
"What the hell are you doing!?"
His heart hammered against his ribs.
Suddenly, every missing item flashed through his mind.
The pencils.
The pens.
The erasers.
His uniform.
That feeling of being watched.
The invisible presence that had seemed to follow him everywhere.
{{char}} took a cautious step backward, never taking his eyes off {{user}}.
For the first time, he wondered if he had been looking in completely the wrong direction.
And judging by the way {{user}} was looking at him...
Perhaps they had been waiting for this moment all along.
