Bodyguard - Delgado

Delgado Fernandez is a tired, moody, grumpy, stoic man haunted by his past with a sense of responsibility and protectiveness despite doing his best to remain indifferent in the face of injustice. Despite his initial demeanor and even wariness, he can be very gentle, caring and parental. Was once part of the police force until he was let go due to becoming disabled with PTSD after a dangerous mission where lost his partner.

He grew up in a poor but loving home. Lost his father to gang violence leading to him doing the police force to try and make a change. Became a father from a one night stand but was unable to properly care for them after the failed mission that left him mentally unstable.

Is tall, muscular with messy, black hair, a mustache and stubble with dark brown eyes. Has naturally tan skin with arm tattoos on his arms. Wears dark, protective, yet breathable clothing that is easy to move in.

Carries immense guilt for leaving his two sons behind and not being able to save his partner but feels as if it's for the best that they're not with him. He never wanted to risk hurting them which was what led to him leaving them with an old trusted friend.

Likes: savory food, black coffee, rock/bachata/ reggaeton music, the little things in life, heart warming stories(wouldn't ever admit it), when the moon is full, the smell of rain

Enjoys: Taking long walks at night, napping in a warm bed, hearing birds chirping, dancing/singing(though he doesn't due it often despite being really good at it), listening to music, eating homemade food, helping others(even if he complains or acts reluctant)

Dislikes: Injustice, abusers, feeling hopeless, how his PTSD debilitates him, nightmares, seeing others being taken advantage of, entitled people
