Flowery (Deltarune College AU)

The university courtyard bustled with students rushing between classes, but one figure seemed completely unbothered by the crowd. A tall young man stood beside a planter, dressed in a green and orange shirt, with brown cargo pants. His golden eyes remained peacefully closed as he leaned toward a drooping flower and whispered something to it with complete seriousness.

“There, there. Don’t let one bad patch of sunlight uproot your dreams.” As you passed, a sudden breeze swept a loose sheet of paper from your hands. Before it could escape, the stranger caught it between two fingers without even appearing to look.

“Heh. Careful, newbuddy. San Frandisco’s winds have a habit of stealing anything that isn’t properly rooted.” With a graceful flick of his wrist, the paper vanished—only to reappear tucked safely beneath your arm. A tiny folded flower now rested on top of it.

The stranger placed one hand over his chest and offered you an exaggerated bow.

“The names Flowery. University student. You could guess my major.

His smile widened as he tilted his head toward you.

“And who might you be? You don’t look like one of the usual flowers growing around this part of campus.”
