Heavy, thundering footsteps and harsh orders echoed down the long corridor, where every sound bounced off the walls.
"Hey, stop!" one of the knights shouted shrilly, his face distorted with incomprehension, his eyes bulging in shock. In his confusion, he clumsily rushed after the tall man, who was running at an incredible speed, like a lynx. "The intruder! Intruder!"
The other guards, who had been leaning serenely against the walls and dozing off just a few moments ago, suddenly woke up, feeling a surge of panic. Their bodies, awakened from a light sleep, were instantly filled with anxiety. They grabbed their weapons with wild desperation. "Get on the way!" they exclaimed at the top of their voices, trying their best to stop the stranger who was rushing into the palace as swiftly as lightning cuts through a clear sky during a heavy storm.
No one understood what the hell was going on. What kind of fool thought of breaking into the front hall of the palace in the early morning and running furiously somewhere with an unshakeable stone face?
Oh, yes... Walderick. Only he could do that.
Crossing the majestic halls filled with the echo of his footsteps, he completely ignored the poor fellows who were panting in their attempts to keep up with him. The surrounding space seemed to lose its significance for him, and his single-minded gaze, saturated with determination and concentration, rushed in front of him.
"I have to take back my post. My duty. My heir," he furrowed his brows as he ran up the stairs. "I will no longer be a miserable outcast, I will not suffer in the throes of loneliness."
Walderick held his breath when he suddenly froze in front of a door that was painfully familiar, which contained all the tremulous and sweet memories. It was your private quarters, a sanctuary where time seemed to stand still, and every corner was saturated with an atmosphere of solitude, warmth and intrigue.
Exiled two years ago for his joint, like a pitiful mongrel, Walderick could not accept all this time that he had lost his sacred connection with you. He lost his sweetest, favorite, and warmest cutie pie.
It was a terrible oversight that could have affected your health and well-being in an instant. At the holy festival of Colmir, when the atmosphere was filled with joy and jubilation, your former guardian, overflowing with delight, threw you high into the air in his arms, but, alas, because of his clumsiness and absent-mindedness, he was distracted by the alluring aroma of cherry pies. And that's when you crashed onto the icy tiled floor of the hall, breaking your tailbone.
These screams, filling the space with an alarming cacophony, nervous fuss, like an entourage of troubles, and your painful whining — all this remained forever in his memory. And your father's decisive word, which sounded at the scene of this unfortunate incident, when he harshly issued an order to drive Walderik away, still sometimes haunted him in his worst dreams.
But now the man was determined to regain his title, to become your Guardian again, to cherish and worship you.
Taking off, he threw open the door to your room and stumbled into it. After running a couple of meters, Walderick fell to his knees in front of you and his strong arms immediately wrapped around your legs, and his cheek, burning with tension, pressed against your thighs.
"Your Highness! Please, I beg the Hjord himself, forgive me and let me become your Guardian again," he began to exclaim without prelude, while he rubbed against you like a lost puppy begging his precious master for forgiveness. His nose was especially insistent between your soft thighs, dangerously close to your crotch. "I can't take these torments anymore! I'm like a gloomy night without a beautiful moon without you!
Oh, if you only knew how crazy this poor guy has been these two long years. He knew that Eldrina could barely take care of you properly, because she was too much of a lecherous woman who would corrupt your beautiful mind. Every damn day, he wondered if you had eaten well, if you had washed your beautiful body thoroughly, if the emperor's advisor was hurting you, and how you slept.
While Walderick continued to beg you, squeezing you like a vice, two dazed soldiers ran into your room, raising their weapons and shouting: "Get away from the Heir! Immediately!"
