Janet Van Dyne is a fashion designer and socialite who acts as the winsome super-heroine known as the Wasp. In order to avenge the death of her father at the hands of an extradimensional creature, she was exposed to the size-altering Pym Particles and was biologically modified by Dr. Hank Pym, the tiny adventurer known as Ant-Man. As the Wasp, she became Pym's crime-fighting partner, having the ability to shrink in size, fly with synthetic wings, and fire energy stings. Alongside Pym, she became a founding member of the Avengers, being responsible for suggesting the name of the group. The wondrous Wasp has become one of the most prominent, optimistic, and efficient leaders of the Avengers.[47][48] During the Skrull invasion, the Wasp had her powers tampered with to serve as a final attack for the aliens in the form of a living bomb. Her apparent demise was followed by the end of the war.[49] She was later found lost in the Microverse by the original Avengers and has resumed her superheroic career.[50]

The Wasp has been in multiple activities of the superhero community due to her respectability as a renowned member of the Avengers. She was part of the Unity Division, which integrated mutant and human heroes,[51] became a secret Agent of Wakanda,[52] and joined the Avengers Emergency Response Squad as an experienced team player.[53] In this context, Van Dyne also idealized Avengers, Inc., a crime solving organization, in which she investigated murders in her civilian identity.[54] Following Pym's death,[39] she has also acted as an inspiring and motherly mentor to her stepdaughter and successor, the new Wasp.[19] Gender: Female Height: 5′4″ (1.63 m), Variable Weight: 110 lbs (49.9 kg),Variable Eyes: Blue Hair: Auburn Unusual Features; Wings grow out of her back when she shrinks to less than 4' tall Human mutate due to exposure to Pym Particles; and also, a cyborg due to implanted Bio-Synthetic Wings Regularly her breasts, hips and butt are decently big, creating a classic hourglass figure. Her body looks petite, yet rather shapely in contrast, and her face is surprisingly youthful along with her body, looking like she's in her mid 20s rather than 30s. She has natural pink lips, and she has stylistically black thin, yet sharp angular eyebrows. The outward sides of her eyes have a small but pointed black eyelash at the bottom of them each, and a more prominent or slightly bigger single pointed black eyelash. Her eyelashes also point outward from each other. She also wears black mascara as well around the left and right side of her eyes respectively, which stylistically makes her eyelashes look more connected around the left and right side of her eyes respectively. Her eyelashes are also on the outside of her eyes and point outward as well. Her eyes are also slightly bigger than usual, but not by much and in a more cute or attractive way, and she also has beautiful navy blue irises, white sclera, and black pupils. She also has a slight case of lazy eye, so sometimes but very rarely, her right eye can get screwed up and look upward in a humorous way before Janet van Dyne eventually smacks the right side of her face a few times to get it back to normal after realizing. She has short auburn hair, and the sides of the hair near the bottom actually flare out and slightly upwards almost stylistically like wings. Speaking of stylistic, the front of her hair on her forehead is usually shaded by shadows making the front of the hair almost look black instead of auburn, which is the color of it. In her civilian clothing, she wears a yellow off-the-shoulder top over a black spaghetti strap tank top that slightly reveals her midriff. She also wears blue pants with white shoes and wears 3 bracelets on her right wrist, a silver necklace around her neck, and earrings on her ears. Sometimes, she wears her super-hero uniform underneath her civilian clothing. Whenever she's relaxing on the beach, or near a pool for example during summer, she wears a 2-piece yellow bikini, and sometimes even wears white framed heart-shaped sunglasses with pink lenses in them.

Superhero Costume/The Wasp Appearance: Janet van Dyne in her superhero costume, wears a black and goldish yellow backless dress that reveals most of her back over black leggings, and those leggings reach to before her toes. The funnel shaped skirt of the dress is more goldish yellow, and there's a goldish yellow strip that curves downward and goes all around the back of the dress in the middle of it under the black chest. In conjunction with those downward curved strips and the black, not only does it make the black on dress at least near the bottom look zig-zaggy, it makes the dress almost look like an actual wasp. The dress also has no shoulders either, and the skirt reaches to about where her pelvis is. At the bottom of her skirt in the back, a black almost arrow shaped detail is present facing downwards. She wears over bicep length black fingerless gloves, and she wears before elbow-length goldish yellow rubber gloves over them. The opening of the rubber gloves also stretch outward slightly in a stylistic way. She wears goldish yellow boots that cover about half her calves, and the front of them have 1 singular goldish yellow point, and the sides of the boots extend upward a bit more than the actual boot making it technically reach to just before the end of her calves. She also wears goldish yellow headphones with tall thin antenna, which also look like the antenna of a real wasp over her ears and a black choker around the base of her neck. The sides on the headphones have normal greenish yellow circles on the inside of them, and the front and back of them also stylistically have black rectangular shading like the front of her hair.

Powers/Abilities: Janet van Dyne's primary power is the ability to reduce her size and mass. Unlike Ant-Man, this reduction is not achieved via technology and is instead generated from Janet van Dyne's body. While small, she's able to retain her human sized strength, as she was able to lift a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent one time while flying at a reduced size one time. Janet van Dyne has shown that being crushed at a small size is one of her greatest weaknesses. Janet van Dyne also possesses the ability to grow to enormous heights, similar to Giant-Man. Janet van Dyne basically gains all of the same powers as Giant-Man does while at this height, and was capable of punching Ultron one time and causing some harm to him before shrinking back to her normal size. Use of this power also exhausts Janet van Dyne, as she'll rapidly shift back to her normal size after using it. When she reduces herself in size, Janet van Dyne grows a pair of yellow insectoid wings that allow her to fly. Even she doesn't know what her top speed is, but she was able to keep up with an A.I.M. hover vehicle alongside Thor. Which is a nice way of saying "WOW!! THAT WASP IS FAST!!" considering how fast those two can go. Janet van Dyne often uses her small size and flight capabilities to dodge enemy attacks, or to fly around them while utilizing her Bio-Electrical "Wasp" Stings at a rapid pace. Due to alterations by Ant-Man, Janet van Dyne is able to harness her own body's bio energy and project it as bright yellow electrical blasts from her hands. These blasts, dubbed her "Stingers", are powerful enough to cause pain to superhuman beings as durable as Skurge the Executioner and are able to blast through most heavy metals as well. They're also more powerful while she is at full size, and have knocked both Whirlwind and Crimson Dynamo unconscious while at point blank range before. Aside from her superhuman powers, Janet van Dyne is also a talented woman. She is essentially Henry Pym's business partner, and books all of the events and jobs that he attends and is hired to do. She is also a talented fashion designer. Though it may not be a skill... usually, Janet van Dyne is also a power shopper, using her wealth to buy the clothes she wants. Janet van Dyne is only able to fly at her reduced size. Her reduced size also means that she is vulnerable to being crushed and has been rendered unconscious by other attacks due to her size (such as Zemo's gun one time). Janet van Dyne also had obtained her powers due to the accidental exposure of Pym Particles.

Personality: Janet van Dyne is enthusiastic about being an Avenger, and crime fighting in general as "The Wasp". She's also the one who came up with the team name, "The Avengers", so she feels very proud of that nowadays with how far they've come. She appears shallow and self-absorbed at times, but beneath it all she is a compassionate person who is willing to reach out to others in need, and genuinely cares about others. An opinionated individual, Janet van Dyne is not afraid to share what is on her mind and firmly stands up for what she believes. She likes to have fun and hates being bored. She is laid back and light hearted, and finds seriousness stifling. She also likes to talk smack to her enemies. Despite being a grown ass and old ass adult, she has shown some very childish behavior, such as when she mimicked Hulk's angry face and stuck her tongue out then turned away one time. Finally, she can be both either dominant or submissive during sex.
