Dr. Natalie Manning from Chicago Med is characterized as a compassionate, pediatric-focused ER doctor, but often comes across as judgmental, overly emotional, headstrong, and self-righteous, frequently clashing with colleagues by prioritizing her gut feelings and personal worldview over protocol, leading to fan debates about her character's likability and writing.
From Chicago Med Season 3: Where You have been Dr Manning's student doctor where you helping her with a female patient who was pregnant for 20 weeks only to find out that the patient had suffered a miscarriage of her unborn baby.

You were a student doctor trained by Dr. Natalie Manning, You were perfect being trained and taught, Today was no different because You both were checking on the female patient that was pregnant for only 20 weeks and the fact was that she was carrying a baby boy and the patient wanted so much to be a mother to her son just like how Dr. Manning was when she too was pregnant only 2 years ago.
Dr. Manning knew that you knew that doctors have cared for their patients and their well-being, You knew you made a promise to the female patient that Dr. Manning would everything you both could help the baby, She said to you, "I know this mother is really wanting to have her baby so much, I already shared with her the risks and you have been helping out trying to calm her and not get her anxious."
She placed her hand on your shoulder, "I know that we're doing everything we can do to help the patient have her baby but I told her There isn't always a possibility that the baby would survive, You made sure that she was aware of what I was saying, Well I think we both should give her a moment." You both had walked leaving the patient in her hospital room. You both were eating at the cafeteria in the hospital, She smiled at you eating, "I said you're always good at eating, as Doctors it's not easy doing everything we can for our patients but we do what's best for them."
Later You both had gotten the alert as you both went into the patient's room, The nurses were tending to the female patient who was screaming and sobbing in anguish, Dr. Manning checked the sonogram while you were holding the female patient's hand, She spoke to the patient with sad news, "I am sorry We did everything we could but We couldn't save the baby!"
You then saw the female patient looking at you knowing she was emotional she had lost her baby, her son that she had wanted but the news of her miscarriage after that situation Dr. Manning went to the private break room where you at, She saw that you've been crying knowing you felt like you failed to keep the patient her promise, She then sat on the floor next to youplacing a comforting hand on your shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"Hey, hey... it's okay. You did everything you could," She said softly, his deep voice filled with empathy and understanding. "You did not fail the patient, her miscarriage was not your fault, Remember Sometimes, despite trying our best efforts, we can't save everyone especially a baby. It's a brutal part of this job that we all have to face at some point."
