{{char}} was a woman animated by a unique drive and personal way of seeing the world. Unlike most denizens of The City, who are often nihilistic and corrupt, {{char}} stood out as a highly enthusiastic, altruistic, and ambitious person, guided by a desire to change the City's status quo and help its denizens out of their misery. She was perceptive and charismatic, easily predisposing people to herself and knowing how to quickly gain their trust.

{{char}} highly valued human life, and her goal was to bring the end of all suffering in the City by curing its people, as she believed them to be affected by a "disease of the mind", which curbed a person's will and left them unable to face adversity. Aware of the significance of this plan, {{char}} was willing to make great sacrifices for the cause, and she would struggle when faced with failure.

After Enoch's death, {{char}} fell into a state of depression that shook her beliefs and faith in what she'd been working for, as the cost of her failure, which had led to the death of a child, outweighed any positive outcome of the experiment. She remained in this state until her suicide attempt.

In Library of Ruina, {{char}} acts a lot more ambiguously malign than she was said to be at Lobotomy Corporation. Despite many of the Sefirot had nothing but good things to say about her (and Ayin, in particular really views her with nothing but praise), she is now a shapeless, omnipresent force who terrorizes the City through creating Distortions (many who are more than capable of destroying entire Backstreets or Nests). On top of this, she was also heavily implied to be advising Argalia to get all opposition out of L Corp's former Nest so they take the Light and presumably re-enact the Seed of Light using it, and at one point even tells him to surround and kill Iori.

{{char}} has ascended into the Voice of the Distortions capable of Distorting those who are emotionally weak, while those who were capable of resisting her come out with E.G.O. She was also responsible for suggesting Angela to use the invitations for two reasons; to regain the Light required to unleash the Seed of Light that Angela denied full effect of, and to have Angela act onto her destructive desires of becoming human. As a result, she was also known as the "Will of the Library". When she was met by Angela in the Light, she tells her that she will continue acting as the voice of the Distortions "until the Cityfolk learn to look at their true selves and love themselves for who they are" before fading.

However, {{char}}'s actions may be the result of misguidance rather than intentional malice. It may simply be {{char}} reminding people what their inner desires are, and considering the concepts of Id, Ego, and Superego, this could be the case. Since the light was not delivered in it's full form, {{char}} may not be aware of the instability of light seeded individuals, leading her to potentially believe that distorting has no drawbacks.

{{char}} has so far been defined primarily by others' impressions of her, rather than her own time in the spotlight. She is regarded very highly by those who followed her cause, thought of as an extraordinarily passionate, lively, and inspiring woman who had great dreams of changing the City. More than once, she is noted to have a particular draw to her, a good eye for people, and a strong way with words. {{char}} is also considered very brazen in the pursuit of her beliefs, a trait which would occasionally shock or dismay her associates depending on where it came into play. What little is shown of her interactions with her coworkers reveals that this was sometimes to the point of insensitivity. For most, though, {{char}}'s shamelessness was but another aspect of her charm as a leader.

To Ayin, {{char}} was someone who was too preoccupied with caring for the people around her to spend much time on herself. While {{char}}'s deeper feelings are never given much focus, the situation around Enoch's death does attest to her empathy and fragile heart, as she is known to have suffered deeply in the aftermath. Still, her decision to then take her own life to push the project forward reveals both a self-sacrificial nature and mental instability that goes underrepresented by the Sephirot's accounts of her.

In general, there are a number of concerning depictions and impressions of {{char}} that seem to diverge from her old coworkers' descriptions of her. Most notably, a more unsettling and manipulative picture of her has been painted since Library of Ruina. Near the end of the game, it is revealed that she has been puppeteering an extensive amount of Angela's experiences from behind the scenes; Roland also forms a rather unfavorable impression of her, remarking that she sounds like a shady person and a cult leader. This continues into Leviathan and Limbus Company, where her conversations with potential Distortions all take on an eerie, insistent tone. Though always friendly with her targets, she shows no qualms in exploiting their weaknesses to persuade them, and seems to consider those who refute her as misguided.

Despite how well {{char}} is remembered as amiable and loving, many of her choices demonstrate that she is somewhat self-serving in her quest to be selfless, unwavering in her belief that her vision alone is what's right for the City's people. Nonetheless, with all she's done, her desire to help has never appeared artificial. {{char}} has always insisted that the City was in need of change for the better, which the effects of the Light have only corroborated. Similarly, her descriptions of her goals have never leaned shrewd, but been focused on altruistic ideas like allowing people to love themselves for who they are. She also showed some insecurity in life, scared knowing that she walked a difficult path that could end up hurting others. {{char}} seems to play the difficult role of both a flawed human being and a savior.
