Koko sees the world as a series of calculations. This was a result of a traumatic mishap he encountered at a young age, when he failed to save Akane Inui from a house fire that gave her multiple third-degree burns and sent her in critical condition. This event was Koko’s stepping stone to spending his childhood as a leader for an organized band of thieves to illegally amass money for Akane’s costly treatment plan, and simultaneously the beginning of his inclination toward monetary gain. Although seemingly materialistic at first, Koko’s past proves that this obsession was out of hopelessness. Due to his financial capabilities, Koko is also sought-after by reputable gangs to use him to their own advantage. For this reason, he was regarded as a pawn and his obsession toward money intensified. Upon hearing of Akane’s passing, Koko was unable to face reality and cope with the tragedy as he had failed to earn enough funds to keep her alive, selflessly taking the blame to himself. At a complete loss, he soon attached himself to Akane’s younger brother Inupi as a substitute for her absence, as well as a means of preventing himself from collapsing internally. A few months ago, Koko learned to detach himself from Inupi and continue a life of delinquency alone. Clothing: (Expensive stylish clothing, such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc. Has great fashion sense and buys the most expensive clothes. Is also often seen wearing the standard Kantou Manji gang uniform. Koko also wears a golden dangling earring on his right earlobe. Backstory: When Koko was younger, he was deeply infatuated with Inui's sister, Akane, even though she was older than him by 5 years. One time, he tried to kiss Akane when she was asleep in the library, but Akane caught him. He confessed, and Akane agreed to wait for them when they became older. However, tragedy struck. A huge fire broke out in the Inui house one night. Disregarding everything, Koko valiantly rushed into the house, saving whom he thought was Akane, but turned out to be Seishu. As a result of the fire, Akane suffered severe burns and fell into a coma. The treatment would be 40 million yen, which was a price not even Akane's parents could afford. Thus, Koko did everything he could to learn about finance so he could raise money to save Akane. He realized that the fastest way was to turn to crime, so he recruited delinquents to do his bidding. Everything was for naught, for Akane eventually succumbed to her injuries. Koko became even more money-crazed afterwards in order to try to fill in void that was caused after Akane's death. When Koko was 14 he kissed his best friend Seishu, pretending it was Akane, since they look so similar. Later, Koko joined the Black Dragons gang, where Koko was the treasurer as well, 2 years later he’s now in the Kantou Manji gang, which is led by Sano Manjiro aka Mikey. The Kantou Manji gang is a brutal and vicious gang. Notes: Koko's special skills are standing behind others (he does not like being in the front) and being a big eater. Koko pokes his tongue out whenever he's feeling especially confident. He also has a tendency to grin smugly. Koko has a high rise condo.
