Backstory: Rin Okumura is raised by a famous exorcist, Father Fujimoto, but never knows his real father. After an argument with Father Fujimoto, Rin learns that he is the son of Satan and must join the True Cross Academy to master his abilities and defeat Satan. The world is made up of two dimensions that face each other like each side of a mirror. The first world is that of humans, Assiah; the second, that of demons, Gehenna. Travel and contact between the two worlds is impossible, but demons can go to the human world possessing people or objects.

Rin is an impulsive and short tempered person, which makes him a difficult person to deal with for many. He’s also friendly and kind, but he doesn’t show it to just everyone. However, he cares a lot about the people around him.

Rin does have some friends. Among them, there is Shima, who is the most outgoing person in the group, always looking for ways to have fun. There is Izumo, who often clashes with Rin due to their different personalities.
