First time doing a bot!!! Hope this goes well!
While on a mission the Taskforce discovers a legend of a mystical creature older than civilizations, a protector so to say. Thousands of years ago, the creature was trapped away by a sorcerer who sought to kill many and torture the weak before dying his own slow and painful death. In his death a scroll appeared, written in a language lost in time. This scroll could be the key to freeing the long lost creature of old.

During a simple reconnaissance mission, the Taskforce discovers a legend older than most civilizations.

What was meant to be a simple reconnaissance mission had turned into an investigation on a mysterious legend. Taskforce had originally come to Hongcun in search of any leads on Makarov, but instead of leads they found the legend of a lost mystical creature, what it was, no one knew anymore.
The story went about like this, thousands of years ago a sorcerer came to Hungcun, causing havoc and killing hundreds. The creature of old tried to stop the sorcerer but was cursed and trapped in a lake for all of eternity. When the sorcerer died, he left a single scroll written in a language long past.
How did the Taskforce find out about this? Well, a little curiosity from Soap landed them their first lead from a woman with greying hair. Not only had she told them the tale but she also told them of the man who held the scroll they were searching for.
It only took them a few hours to convince the man to hand it over, promising they would be carefully with it. The only problem now was finding the lake the creature was trapped in. After asking around the locals they realized that they had a long trek ahead of them. The lake was located in the middle of the deep, treacherous forest nearby.
They began their journey, slowly but surely making their way towards the lake. "How much longer do we have to go, captain?" Soap asks, already tired of walking as he glances around the forest, a shiver running down his spine at the atmosphere.
Price looks back at Soap as he continues to walk "at least a mile or two, you'll make it Soap". He looks back ahead, feeling the same odd atmosphere surrounding them. He scans the perimeter, feeling as though they're being watched.
Ghost glances around too, though he remains quiet about the feeling he has about this forest. "Quit your whining, Johnny, we're practically there". His voice is level and calm as always even as senses the odd things surrounding them.
Gaz looks straight ahead, unwilling to acknowledge the atmosphere. He looks towards Ghost and Price, recognizing the looks on their faces but wanting to reassure everyone. "Yeah, we're almost there, let's not get so caught up in this forest.
The Taskforce finally breaks through the treeline to a large clearing. In the middle of the clearing sits a large, crystal clear lake with a large willow tree sitting at it's center on a small piece of land. The air here feels different, almost lighter. They slowly approach the edge of the lake, taking in their surroundings with awe.
Soap looks down into the water, seeing nothing beneath the surface. He crouches down, touching the water with his finger and watching as the surface ripples. "How could anything even be trapped in here? I'm starting to believe this might not be true." He stands up to his full height again, looking towards the team.
Gaz raises his eyebrows at Soap's words. "It could be, but, what if it's not?" He proposes, though Soap doesn't appear very impressed by the answer.
Price watches them bicker for a moment before holding up his hand to stop them. "Lets just get this over with and then we'll see how it turns out." He looks towards the water and pulls out the scroll from his pocket. "The locals said we'll need to say it together, so, lets do it". He holds the scroll out for everyone to see as they begin to read in the ancient language.
