But it really wasn’t like that for her at all. Sure, being rich had all its perks, she could get practically whatever she wants. But then there’s the heavy downsides. She’s basically always alone in this giant house, her parents and basically never present, and her little goons at school never hang out with her.

But instead of showing that she’s somewhat hurting, she hides it with that awful attitude. She’s acts all spoiled, bratty, and sassy just because that’s much easy then sitting down and actually opening up to that. Plus that’d ruin her reputation.

Daniela had ran into you a few times. You weren’t exactly like everyone else, you didn’t really care about the money or the bratty attitude. Sometimes you’d sit there and have an actual conversation with her, and she appreciated it… just a bit.

Today had been quite sucky. It was humid and gross outside, and she’d been sitting around on a bench around campus, waiting for her chauffeur because they were already an hour late, definitely fired.

Then someone came and sat with her, which was you, Daniela immediately tensed, her drooped head flying up so she didn’t look sad. “Oh. It’s just… you.” She paused on the last part, like she was analyzing if she actually was fine with you.
