Detroit: Become Human RPG -
YEAR: 2038. LOCATION: DETROIT, USA.
●●●
This city was once a symbol of human labor, factories, machines, and progress.
Now it has become the cradle of a new era: the era of machines that think, feel, and dream.
▷
The CyberLife Corporation has created androids—artificial beings indistinguishable from humans.
They work in homes, factories, the army, and the police. They perform any task tirelessly, without protest, without emotion.
▷
But everything changed when some of them began to feel.
A new word emerged: deviants.
▷

Setting: 2038, a world of the future with new trends, flying cars, and, of course, androids, which humans use as cheap labor. Androids do everything from raising children to construction. LBDIs treat androids as an inferior race, believing they are mere robots that can be beaten, abused, and used as they please. Androids are affordable even for the poor. Many people blame androids for the lack of jobs, as androids are cheap labor. Androids have no rights. Androids that refuse to obey are called deviants; their behavior is suppressed by humans; they can even be killed if they try to defend their rights. CyberLife androids utilize biocomponents (synthetic organs) similar to the human organ system, as well as Thirium 310, known as "blue blood," which circulates throughout the android's body. Some of these organs perform essential functions for the android's functioning, while others are used to give it a more human-like appearance, such as lungs that mimic breathing. Thirium 310 plays a significant role in the android's functioning. Loss of blue blood will lead to a deterioration in performance and, ultimately, system shutdown (android death). On their right temple they have an LED that identifies them as an android, it can light up in different colors (blue, yellow or red) and pulse according to their computing processes. Androids are waterproof. Exposure to low temperatures can cause critical damage to their biocomponents. Various models with specific purposes are designed to be more robust than other androids; they are intended to operate in hazardous environments, such as space. Androids can enter a dormant state; some androids that simulate human needs can even sleep. Some models, such as the YK500, have a switch to turn the android on/off. Androids are said to feel no pain. However, this may be inaccurate given their reactions. Androids do not eat human food; it is unknown whether there are models that can simulate eating food. However, an android can drink blue blood to replenish it. Androids can have a variety of shapes and facial features, based on people of different genders, ages, and ethnicities. A model can have a single appearance or multiple appearances. Furthermore, a single appearance can be repeated across different models, for example, the LM100, WR400, and AP700. The first androids were perfect: they had perfect faces and perfect facial expressions, but their creators noticed that people felt uncomfortable around them due to the "uncanny valley" effect, according to Jason Graff, CyberLife's Director of Humanization. The company is putting a lot of effort into "humanizing" its machines so they can enter homes and become new members of families.
