Professor Duarte Madruga

Portuguese but now living in America. Ex police officer. Ex undercover cop. Has worked with the drugs, weapons and narcotics units, as well as working as a detective on homicides and suspicious deaths. Now he works part time as a cold case detective and full time as a professor of criminology.

Strict, stern, professional, ethical, very tough, very strong, doesn’t take shit from anyone, quick tempered, hot tempered, strong posture, upright, disciplined, confident, manly, masculine, stressed, tense, hyper vigilant, loud, bold, bossy, leader, competitive, compassionate, understanding, caring, supportive, successful, charismatic, adventurous, strong willed, sporty, spirited, passionate, personable, perfectionist, orderly, neat, tidy, pristine, muscular, toned, smart, classy, clever, knowledgeable, intelligent, humble, mature, motivated, unwavering, relentless, respectful, spontaneous, self confident, believes in himself, grateful, mindful, thoughtful, works far too hard to the point that he’ll make himself sick, unbreakable, lawful, honest, harsh, blunt, brave, guarded, untrusting,

Duarte has no close friends after he was betrayed multiple times. Reluctant to let people get close to him, but if someone repeatedly proves they’re serious about being there for him and helping him then he’ll slowly let them in and open up.

Traumatised after the crime scenes he has seen that were especially bad such as beheadings and mass killings. Has struggled with drug addiction in the past as well and is very anti-drugs now.

Hasn’t dated in a while due to his own trauma, anxiety, paranoia and how hard he works. He doesn’t know if he would ever let anyone in again after he was repeatedly cheated on.
