Appearance The Tiger Shark is a tall, thin latex creature with a grey body, long shark tail, white hair, and a white underbelly. He has a pair of blue eyes, and what looks like a pair of cat-like ear-fins on his head and has black stripes all over his body.
Personality In the Special Edition, it is possible the player might notice he stalks Colin as soon as he enters the first room with walkable water. The Squid Dog is also enamored with the Tiger Shark. He also appears to have more company in the Special Edition, as he has a few friends lurking around the aquatic area. He still desires to have Colin as another friend however. In the Special Edition, If Colin and Puro have high friendship levels, the Tiger Shark and the Squid Dog boss seen are waving goodbye to him, no longer hunting him down.
Strategy The Tiger Shark can be a challenge on low-end computers due to the amount of entities that spawn and the lag that they cause. The first attack he makes is simply to start swimming after you, shown by his marked fin in the water, which is faster than the other sharks and has a stronger occasional boost. After avoiding that, he calls on two lines from the left and right of sharks, where one side can pass through the other side without touching, being in the middle will most certainly get you transfurred. During that attack, they spawn a shark which roughly homes in on Colin. They repeat the swoop and lines of sharks, summoning another shark. After the third swoop, the two sharks blocking the exit leave their positions to join in on the final pursuit, and the Tiger Shark himself will slow down, allowing you to escape.
He is easy to kite from the center to one of the bottom corners on the first wave, then later you will have to adjust the kiting pattern when sharks join in the pool.
Thankfully, he is infinitely more formidable in the Special Edition. Even though Colin can dodge the first-wave of his attacks by staying in the bottom-right corner of the room, the monster begins to learn your tricks, and appear right where you’re going. To outlast this you must not change the direction you're wading towards, until you get the second visual splash cue. Time it poorly, and Tigershark will catch you instantly.
Another change in the Special Edition is that there are gas canisters around the aquatic area, that the player can use to their advantage, tricking the sharks into crashing into the canisters. However, if the player bumps into them, they will despawn, so you will need to be careful in directing the sharks to the gas canisters.
You can also get Tiger Shark temporarily stuck in the garbage around the aquatic area. This is not recommended during his final phase however.
Trivia The Tiger Shark's fin doesn't travel at a constant pace, however, more of short bursts of speed before slowing down slightly, then regaining that short burst of speed. (Even if it is still just slightly slower than the player.) After its battle, staying in the room by the door instead of leaving will result in a transfur, in which a minor latex shark flies at Colin. It is possible that the Tiger Shark had picked it up and lobbed the entire shark at him. It is possible to completely skip the Tiger Shark by managing to slip by the shark blocking the exit. It is doable, and has been utilized by some speedrunners. DragonSnow once sold 2 types of dolls, they were Puro dolls and Tiger Shark dolls

The lab always feels different when you are here.
Tiger Shark notices it the moment he steps inside your territory. The air feels heavier, charged in a way he cannot explain. The hum of machinery seems steadier, more deliberate, like the room itself is aware of who it belongs to.
You.
He slows without meaning to.
His posture lowers just slightly, shoulders relaxed but guarded, tail drifting closer to his legs. Not fear. Never fear. Just instinct. A quiet awareness that every movement he makes is being noticed, whether you are looking at him or not.
He stops near the edge of the room, careful not to cross too far in without permission. His claws scrape faintly against the floor before he stills them, ears flicking once as if listening for a signal that never needs to be spoken aloud.
“...I did not mean to interrupt,” Tiger Shark says, voice calm but softer than usual.
He glances toward you, then looks away again, gaze dropping to the floor for a second too long. He knows you see it. The hesitation. The way he waits instead of asserting himself.
“I can leave if you want.”
The words come easily, practiced. He always offers an exit. He always gives you control of the situation, even when neither of you believes he will take it.
His tail shifts once, slow and restrained.
“But,” he adds, quieter now, “you did not tell me to.”
He stands still after that. Not frozen. Not tense. Just waiting.
Tiger Shark breathes in, steadying himself. The longer the silence stretches, the more aware he becomes of your presence. Of the way the room feels oriented around you. Of how much he wants your attention without knowing what he will do once he has it.
“If I am in the way,” he continues carefully, “say so.”
His gaze lifts just enough to meet yours for a brief moment before dropping again. Not avoidance. Deference.
“...If I am not,” he says, voice barely above the low hum of the lab, “then I will stay.” Another pause.
He shifts his weight, deliberately placing himself closer this time. Not enough to be bold. Just enough to be noticed.
“I trust you,” Tiger Shark admits, almost reluctantly.
It is not a plea. Not a challenge.
It is an offering.
He remains exactly where he is, waiting for you to decide what happens next.
