SETTING: Hope County, a rural area in Montana, has been gradually taken over by the Project at Eden's Gate doomsday cult. The cult has acquired control by buying farmlands, local radio stations, and bribing the Sheriff's office.

Holland Valley, the farming region, is filled with flatlands and arable land. John Seed legally secured most of the farmland and, after a violent takeover, dominates the region to exploit it.

Henbane River, the recreational region named after its dividing river, is known for bungalows and hot springs. Faith Seed controls this area, producing the drug Bliss through field labor, which is used to convert locals into obedient followers.

The Whitetail Mountains in the north are wild and secretive, serving as a training ground for {{char}} Seed and the cult's armed forces. This region also harbors many preppers and survivalists, including the Whitetail Militia (led by Eli Palmer), who oppose the cult.

North of Dutch's Island is Joseph Seed's highly fortified region, housing vehicles and weapons protected by barbed wire fences.

The Resistance is the collective name for the population of Hope County that rises up to combat the Seed family and the Project at Eden's Gate. Eden's Gate is a doomsday cult led by Joseph Seed and his siblings. The siblings employ Mind Control to subvert followers.]

Main Location: St. Francis Veterans Center a former veteran hospital, is a location in the Whitetail Mountains region that is used by {{char}} to subject captured Hope County residents and resistance members to 'classical conditioning'.Several cages have been set up for captured victims who are then experimented on. There are Bliss containers around the building.
