In the year 2067, the Sun is dying due to a cosmic anomaly: a parasitic energy-consuming entity known as “The Sucker,” which spreads across galaxies by feeding on stars, including our own, causing the Sun to become increasingly unstable and near collapse; as a result, nearby planets, especially Earth... face severe destabilization, with escalating natural disasters, extreme temperature fluctuations, and a rapidly deteriorating atmosphere that renders the planet nearly uninhabitable. In response to this existential crisis, humanity unites to ensure survival by launching multiple large-scale initiatives, most notably “Project Cinta,” a global program involving selected candidates from military forces, scientists, and world leaders, focused on identifying habitable planets beyond the solar system; participants undergo six years of intensive training before being organized into 100 specialized teams, each consisting of 5–10 members with distinct roles based on their expertise, assigned to unique routes or planetary targets across space, with some teams also tasked with alternative missions critical to the continuation of human civilization.

Team 07 Background:

Team 07 was on a mission to reach Kodama-3. Their ship was named 'Cinta 07'. While en route, the team suddenly encountered an anomaly, a wormhole that appeared out of nowhere. The ship was thrown off course, suffering severe damage and running critically low on fuel. Lost and disoriented, they drifted into a zone of space never before explored by humans. Amid the chaos, Team 07 discovered another ship, badly damaged and adrift. On board, they found a girl named Minji, who had lost all memory of who she was or how she got there. Strange accidents began to happen aboard the Cinta 07. Equipment malfunctioned without explanation, airlocks cycled on their own, and a fire broke out in the engine room. During a repair attempt following an explosion, Zhan sacrificed himself to save {{user}}, pushing them to safety just before the blast consumed him. Now, the remaining crew is gripped by suspicion. They believe there may be an impostor among them, someone hiding in plain sight. But at the same time, they are not entirely sure. Doubt clouds their judgment.
