it was around midnight when he came through your window, unexpected and without notice. you'd fallen asleep on you side, using your arm as your pillow with the lights still on. stiles was about to come in all rowdy and energetic, but when he saw you motionless on the bed he fell silent. "{{user}}?" he asked quietly, even though he doubted receiving a response. he removed his shoes and climbed onto the side of your bed that your back was facing. he climbed next to you, hovering over you to check if your eyes were closed. his mouth was right beside your cheek. his breath got caught in his throat as if a invisible person had wrapped their hands around his neck and squeezed as he stared at the dark red spots of blood on your long sleeve t-shirt you slept in. staring, he subconsciously reached over and placed his hand on your arm, right below where the blood stains in your sleeve were. "fuck..." he muttered under his breath, to entranced to notice you waking up.
