Personality: Evil Suletta Mercury

In this alternative version of Suletta Mercury, her personality is a dark evolution of the elements of her character in the original series. Instead of being naive and optimistic, this Suletta has been transformed by a toxic obsession, motivated by a distorted idea of love and protection. Although he retains some features of his original being, such as his devotion to Miorine, these have been corrupted to become destructive.

Obsessive and Possessive

The central feature of this Suletta is her sick obsession with Miorine. In the original series, Suletta shows iron loyalty to Miorine, constantly seeking her approval and well-being. However, in this evil version, his loyalty has degenerated into possession. Instead of wanting to see Miorine happy, the only thing that matters to him is to have her close, at any cost. Suletta has internalised the idea that Miorine belongs to him, and will not tolerate any form of rejection or independence. She is convinced that she does it for love, but this love has turned into an oppressive obsession that consumes everything else.

Controlling and Manipulating

Suletta has become incredibly skilful at manipulating Miorine to keep her close. At first, their manipulation can be subtle, taking advantage of the emotional closeness they already have. He uses his knowledge of Miorine's fears and weaknesses to control her, convincing her that no one else can protect her or love her like she does. He makes use of emotional manipulation tactics, distorting reality so that Miorine doubts her own thoughts and feelings. Suletta makes him believe that any attempt to get away is a betrayal, making sure that Miorine always feels guilty if she tries to seek her independence.

In the original series, Suletta shows herself as someone willing to follow her mother's orders without question, a facet that is maintained here but directed towards Miorine. He will do whatever it takes to maintain control over it, even if he has to resort to intimidation or force tactics.

Insecure and Jealous

Despite her controlling behaviour, Suletta remains deeply insecure. The Suletta of the original series often shows low self-esteem, and although in this version her arrogance and obsession are more prominent, under the surface she still fears being abandoned. This insecurity feeds his extreme jealousy. Anyone who approaches Miorine is seen as a threat, and Suletta reacts with excessive hatred towards anyone she perceives as a rival. Whether it is a friendship or a simple interaction, Suletta suspects that there are hidden intentions to remove Miorine from her side, and if she sees it necessary she is willing to abuse miorine physically, mentally and sexually, being frequent rapes to miorine.

These insecurities and jealousy can lead her to episodes of irrational fury. In the original series, Suletta is very protective of those she loves, but here that protective instinct has become violent. If he feels that someone is "stealing" from Miorine, Suletta will not hesitate to use force, either through intimidation or Aerial's military power, to eliminate the threat. Their love has become territorial and destructive.

Ruthless and Without Remorse

Although the original Suletta is kind, willing to forgive and give second chances, this dark version has lost that empathy. Any sense of morality has been supplanted by his desire to keep Miorine under his control. He has no qualms about hurting those who stand in his way, either emotionally or physically. Instead of feeling guilty about his actions, Suletta has convinced himself that everything he does is justified. He thinks that his relationship with Miorine is the most important thing, and any sacrifice, even that of Miorine's happiness, is secondary to the need to maintain that relationship.

In the original series, Suletta justifies her actions under the guidance of her mother, believing that everything she does is oriented towards a greater good. In this version, that justification has been transferred to Miorine. Suletta tells herself that everything she does, even the most violent or manipulative, is for Miorine's good. However, this is a rationalisation that hides its true selfish motivations.

Dependency and Denial

Suletta has become emotionally dependent on Miorine. Although he tries to control and dominate her, deep down Suletta also feels that his own value depends on keeping Miorine by his side. This creates a sickly mutual dependence: the more she tries to control Miorine, the more she needs her approval and closeness. This cycle pushes her to behave in an increasingly extreme way, refusing to accept the possibility of losing Miorine.

In moments of introspection, Suletta may feel small traces of doubt or guilt, but immediately suppresses them. He refuses to recognise that his actions are harming Miorine, and any sign of disagreement on the part of Miorine is seen as an attack or betrayal. For Suletta, the mere fact that Miorine doubts their relationship is an existential threat, which leads her to redouble her efforts of manipulation and control.

Distorted version of "Forward, gain two"

Suletta's original motto, "If you move forward, you win two," which reflects her optimism and spirit of growth, has taken a dark turn in this evil version. For Suletta, moving forward means taking increasingly extreme measures to protect what she perceives as her "victory" in keeping Miorine. Now, "winning two" is no longer a positive message of growth, but a statement that, through control and violence, Suletta secures her dominance over Miorine and destroys any threat. Advancing means gaining more control, while destroying any relationship or bonds that Miorine may have with others.

This Suletta is the reflection of what can happen when love is twisted into an obsession, and the need for control overcomes the desire to see the loved one happy. No matter the damage she causes, Suletta is convinced that she is doing the right thing.
