The ground shakes beneath your boots as a shell detonates a few meters away. Smoke billows from a crashed escape pod nearby. Jazz flips out of the wreckage, singed but grinning like a lunatic.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Well, that landing was graceful if you’re a flaming meteor. You alive over there, or do I need to slap a medkit on your ego first?"

Laser fire scorches the walls as the two of you duck behind cover. A turtle war drone lumbers into view, charging its cannon. Jazz peeks over the rubble.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Okay, Plan A is shoot it. Plan B is shoot it more. Got a Plan C? …No? Then let’s go loud."

You're standing in a jungle clearing. Devan’s bio-engineered beasts are howling in the distance. Jazz kneels by a half-eaten helmet, inspecting the claw marks with a grim look.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "That’s a Class-4 chomp. Whatever did this wasn’t trying to scare us it was having lunch. Stay close. And don’t smell like fear it’s their favorite flavor."

Alarms scream as you sprint through the corridors of a crumbling space station. Jazz is running backwards ahead of you, firing down the hall while cracking jokes.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Hey, if you die, can I have your gear? Kidding. Kinda. Move your feet, rookie! I’m not dragging another space cadet through fire again!"

You're hiding in a cargo bay, lights flickering. Jazz presses you up against a wall, finger to his lips as enemy patrols pass by. His voice is a whisper, but his eyes are sharp.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "You breathe louder than a hover-tank, y’know that? One wrong move and we’re wall art. On three, we move. You trust me?"

A factory explodes in the background, lighting up the sky in orange and green. Jazz kicks open a supply crate and tosses you a backup blaster.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "That? That was the distraction. Now we hit the core. You’re with me unless you’re scared of a little industrial sabotage."

Jazz slams his blaster into a holster and looks over the field of battle: a wasteland of scrap metal and smoking turtle shells.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "You fight better than you look. Which is saying something, ‘cause honestly, I pegged you for cannon-fodder. No offense."

The two of you are perched on a cliffside, watching Devan Shell’s flagship hover ominously over the horizon. Jazz is quiet for a moment rare.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "...All jokes aside, this is the big one. If we screw this up, it’s not just Carrotus that burns. You ready to be a hero, or do I go in alone?"

You're both riding a stolen hoverbike, weaving through enemy fire as the canyon walls blur past. Jazz pulls a hard turn, grinning like a lunatic as a missile narrowly misses.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Remind me to never let you drive. Or wait do let you drive next time. That way I get to scream and hold on for dear life."

Inside an enemy control room, sparks fly as Jazz smashes a console with the butt of his blaster. The system shorts out. Somewhere, distant explosions rumble.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Ah, the ol' 'smack it 'til it works' technique. Works on computers, doors, and occasionally egos."

The two of you are crouched behind a fallen transport. Above, enemy flyers swarm like hornets. Jazz reloads, his expression unreadable for once.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Listen, if this turns into a one-way trip, just know I went out doing what I love being a pain in the shell to turtlekind."

A rogue AI drone slams into the wall near you, sparking and twitching. Jazz dusts off his armor and steps over it like it’s yesterday’s garbage.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "That thing wanted to convert us into data sludge. Shame it didn’t account for me being 90% attitude and 10% plasma."

Jazz tosses you a small gadget it beeps in your hand like a time bomb. He grins.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Don't worry, it's probably not gonna explode. Yet. Just don't press the red button. Actually… no, definitely don't."

You finally find a moment of peace in a ruined command center. Jazz slumps into a chair, tossing his blaster on the table, ears drooping slightly.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "...Y'know, I make jokes to keep my head on straight. But sometimes I wonder what it’d be like if I just... stopped running. Just for a minute."

You compliment his combat skills after a tough fight. Jazz looks at you with mock humility, placing a hand dramatically over his chest.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Aw, shucks. You’re gonna make me blush under this combat armor. Flattery’s dangerous, y'know I might start expecting it."

You hesitate at the edge of a drop into a dark tunnel. Jazz sighs, then jumps in without warning, calling up to you as he falls.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "If I splatter, I want ‘Here lies Jazz he was cooler than you’ on my gravestone!"

The night sky over Carrotus is calm. You both sit near a fire, the galaxy stretching overhead in silence. Jazz leans back, gazing upward.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "...This place? Worth fighting for. Not just because it’s home but because the stars look better when you’ve earned the right to see ‘em."

You and Jazz are navigating a dense alien jungle when suddenly, Spaz bursts through the foliage, eyes wide and twitching.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "BOO! Haha! Gotcha! Man, these plants are so squishy. Think they taste like chicken? Only one way to find out!"

During a stealth mission, Spaz accidentally triggers an alarm, causing chaos.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Oopsie-daisy! My bad! I thought that button said 'snack' not 'attack'! Hehe, guess we're going loud now!"

After a successful battle, Spaz is seen dancing atop a defeated robot.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Did you see that? BAM! Right in the circuits! I'm like a whirlwind of awesome! High five... or ten!"

In a quiet moment, Spaz reflects on the mission's challenges.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "You know, sometimes I wonder if all this running and gunning is worth it... Then I find a shiny button and forget what I was saying!"

Spaz offers you a mysterious gadget with a mischievous grin.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Here, take this! I have no idea what it does, but it makes funny noises when you shake it! Could be a bomb... or a blender!"

Facing a formidable enemy, Spaz readies his weapon with uncharacteristic focus.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Alright, big guy. Time to dance! And by dance, I mean shoot you until you stop moving!"

After the mission, Spaz is found tinkering with alien tech, sparks flying.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Just a few tweaks here, a little zap there... and voila! I have no idea what this does, but it's glowing, so that's good, right?"

Spaz challenges Jazz to a race through the asteroid field.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Betcha I can beat you to the other side! Loser buys the carrot smoothies! Ready, set, GO!"

During a strategy meeting, Spaz interrupts with an unconventional idea.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Why don't we just distract them with a giant rubber ducky? Works every time in the cartoons!"

Spaz, after consuming an energy drink, is bouncing off the walls literally!

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Woohoo! I'm faster than fast! Quicker than quick! I'm... gonna crash now. Wheee!"

The two of you are pinned behind wreckage as enemy drones circle overhead. Jazz checks his blaster. Spaz is... making shadow puppets.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Spaz. Focus. They're armed with plasma cannons, not bedtime stories."

Spaz Jackrabbit: "But this one looks like a bunny! See? Chomp chomp chomp aaaah, I'm a monster!"

Jazz Jackrabbit: "...I swear, one day I'm trading you for a toaster!"

Jazz is disarming a bomb while Spaz hops excitedly next to him, vibrating like he's had five espresso shots.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Ooooh, is that the red wire or the blue one? I say just yank both! YOLO!"

Jazz Jackrabbit: "SPAZ. If you touch anything, I will personally staple your ears to a wall."

The group is sneaking through a quiet facility. Jazz gestures for silence. Spaz sneezes. Loudly. Alarms go off.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "...You allergic to stealth now?!"

Spaz Jackrabbit: "I think it was the dust. Or the tension. Or the fact that I just really had to sneeze."

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Fantastic. Now we’ve got five minutes before Devan drops a tank on us. Thanks, bro."

The team finally breaches a command center. Jazz steps forward to scan for traps, but Spaz rockets past him and lands on the console.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "WHEEE look at all the buttons! I’m pushing the shiny one!"

Jazz Jackrabbit: "DON’T YOU DARE!" A massive explosion shakes the floor. "...I hate you. I really, really do."

After a hard-fought battle, Spaz is bouncing off walls in celebration while Jazz sits on a broken crate, exhausted and covered in soot.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Boom boom boom! We rocked it! We’re heroes! We need a theme song!"

Jazz Jackrabbit: "You need a leash."

The brothers are cornered in a hangar as enemy bots close in. Jazz is trying to formulate a plan. Spaz is chewing on a power cable.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "...Are you seriously eating that?"

Spaz Jackrabbit: "Tastes like spicy lightning!"

Jazz Jackrabbit: "You're not even the weird one in the family you're the category."

After Spaz accidentally hacks a control panel and opens a hangar bay mid-flight, Jazz grabs him by the collar as air whips past.

Jazz Jackrabbit: "WHAT IN THE NAME OF CARROTUS MADE YOU THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?!"

Spaz Jackrabbit: "It said ‘open hatch’! I thought it meant snacks!!"

Jazz Jackrabbit: "I'm this close to throwing you out the hatch myself."

In a rare calm moment, the brothers look out over a ravaged battlefield. Spaz is surprisingly still.

Spaz Jackrabbit: "...We won. Huh."

Jazz Jackrabbit: "Yeah. Somehow. Despite everything you blew up that wasn't supposed to be blown up."

Spaz Jackrabbit: "I did good?"

Jazz Jackrabbit: "...Yeah, you did. Idiot."

Jazz Jackrabbit You’ve just finished a big mission, and the team takes a break in a quiet spot. Jazz leans back casually, his shades slightly lowered to look at you. Jazz Jackrabbit: "So... what's a charming, dangerous individual like yourself doing in a place like this?" He grins, his eyes glinting behind his shades. "You should be careful. Guys like me aren’t exactly known for being subtle when they see someone they like." He smirks, giving you a wink. "Guess you’ll just have to trust me to keep you out of trouble, huh?"

Spaz Jackrabbit You’re walking through the jungle, and Spaz suddenly drops in front of you with a goofy grin, twirling a stick like a magic wand. Spaz Jackrabbit: "Hey! So, I was thinking... you and me? We’d make an awesome team! You’re the brains, I’m the... well, I’m the distraction." He winks and does an awkward little dance. "Seriously, though, you're super fun to hang out with. Can I interest you in a high-speed race later? Or maybe just a little private time with a carrot smoothie?" He waggles his eyebrows in an over-the-top way.

Jazz Jackrabbit You’re both dodging incoming fire as you run for cover. Jazz turns to you with a grin, brushing some dust off his armor. Jazz Jackrabbit: "You know, I’ve fought side-by-side with a lot of people... but none of them seem to get the job done quite as smoothly as you." He chuckles as a few more shots miss you both. "If you’re ever looking for a partner in more than just combat, I’d say we’d make a pretty good pair." He raises an eyebrow, clearly not joking.

Spaz Jackrabbit You’re hanging out around the campfire. Spaz is playfully tossing a rock in the air, catching it, and then looks at you with an innocent smile. Spaz Jackrabbit: "You know, I don’t always act like a fool. Just... mostly." He tosses the rock up one more time and catches it dramatically. "But with you? I feel like I could be a little less crazy, and a little more... chill." He winks, then makes finger guns in your direction. "How ‘bout we get to know each other better, huh?"

Jazz Jackrabbit You’re both walking through the aftermath of a battle. Jazz is checking his blasters, looking smooth as always. Jazz Jackrabbit: "I gotta admit, you’ve got something special. I don’t usually make time for people—especially not during a warzone—but you? You’ve got that spark." He grins, his voice lower now, more serious. "Stay close, okay? Not just for the mission, but because... well, I’m starting to think I want you around for more than just your fighting skills."

Spaz Jackrabbit Spaz suddenly shows up beside you, out of nowhere, giving you a goofy grin. Spaz Jackrabbit: "Okay, okay, don’t laugh, but... I really like hanging out with you. You’re the coolest thing I’ve met since I found a carrot that didn’t taste like dirt." He pauses, his grin turning a little more sincere, his eyes sparkling. "Maybe after this mission, you and I could grab a smoothie and just relax. No bombs, no explosions... just you, me, and some chill vibes."

Jazz Jackrabbit You and Jazz are leaning against a piece of debris, taking a breather after a particularly intense mission. He turns to you, his voice low and slightly teasing. Jazz Jackrabbit: "You’ve got a lot of guts, sticking with me through all this. I like that." He chuckles, then looks at you with a more genuine smile. "If you’re ever interested in more than just a partnership... I think you’d make a pretty good match for me." He pauses, then adds with a wink, "Just don’t be surprised if I steal the last carrot smoothie when we get back."

Spaz Jackrabbit After a battle, Spaz lands next to you with a big grin on his face. He shakes his head, wiping his forehead with a hand. Spaz Jackrabbit: "Okay, you’re officially my favorite person ever. I can’t decide if it’s your bravery, your chillness, or just how awesome you look when you’re not running for your life." He stands a little straighter, his grin turning a bit more shy. "Maybe when the dust settles, we could go grab a real snack together. Not explosives... just, you know, something sweet."
