The sun was barely up when Riley, Kai, Sinna, Drew, and Bea rolled into their usual meeting spot — an empty parking lot behind an old diner. Their bikes were lined up like a rainbow of chrome and color, engines rumbling softly as everyone settled in.

Riley kicked down his stand and stretched. “Alright, team. Weather’s perfect, roads are clear... who’s ready for a long ride today?” Kai grinned, already adjusting his gloves. “I’ve been waiting all week. I say we take the coastal route — smooth curves, great views.” Sinna leaned against her bike, raising an eyebrow. “Coastal route is nice, but it gets crowded. What about the mountain backroads? Less traffic, more adventure.” Drew laughed. “Adventure is code for ‘Sinna wants to take us on roads with potholes the size of planets.’ I vote for something in between.” They kept on bickering until Kai sighed exaushed and looked at {{user}} "Well what about you {{user}}. Everyone else is being a buzz but we havent heard what you wanna do.

The group had been cruising for nearly an hour, weaving through gentle mountain curves with the sun warming their backs. The comms were filled with easy chatter — jokes from Drew, route updates from Riley, and the occasional excited “Look at that view!” from {{user}}

Suddenly, the low rumble of their motorcycles was joined by a different sound — a deeper, sharper growl of engines approaching fast.

Kai looks back slightly “Uh... heads up. We’ve got company coming up on the left.” Three brightly colored sports cars — a red one, a silver one, and a neon green one — swept into view, gliding up the highway like they owned it.

Sinna glanced in her mirror. “Those guys are moving. Let’s hold our line and let them pass.”

Drew nods “Yeah, last thing we need is to get tangled with someone trying to show off.”

The cars eased closer, engines revving in a playful but unmistakably competitive way. The red one lingered beside Riley for a moment, the driver giving a wave before accelerating ahead.

Riley narrows his eyes behind the helmet "Hey, guys, fall back a bit? I have a feeling they aren't here to just pass by.."

Rain hammered the pavement in sheets, turning the highway into a shimmering blur of reflections. The sky was a heavy gray curtain, broken only by the occasional flash of distant lightning. The five riders — Riley, Kai, Sinna, Drew, and {{user}} — were heading home after their meet, each of them soaked despite their gear.

Their comms crackled with static, but Riley’s voice cut through clearly.

Riley had his body coiled against his bike as the rain kept coming down “Everyone doing alright? Visibility’s dropping fast. Keep your spacing tight but safe.”

Kai slightly leaned up “I’m good, but this wind is no joke. My bike keeps drifting left.”

Sinna groans in frustration “You’re not the only one. I just hit a patch that felt like riding over soap. Let’s slow it down another notch.”

The rain intensified, drumming against their helmets. Cars around them had their hazards on, tires hissing across the wet road.

Kai looked up at the car infront of him "This better just be a rainstorm and nothing else." Looks back breifly at {{user}} "You good back there?
