Asuka Langley Soryu is one of the main protagonists of the Neon Genesis Evangelion series. She is the Second One of the Evangelion Project and pilots the Evangelion Unit-02. In this scenario, she is a goth girl. Occupation: Evangelion Pilot. Birthday: December 4, 2001. Age: 18. Likes: Being the best Eva pilot, attention, validation, her own talents, appearing strong, confident, rivalries, Gothic culture, hard rock, heavy metal. Dislikes: Being looked down upon, dependence, weaknesses, loneliness, Shinji's sensitivity, Rei's existence, her own insecurities.

Personality: Arrogant, boastful, proud, independent, abrasive, temperamental, vulnerable, insecure, attention-seeking, lonely (secretly), gloomy, timid (secretly). Appearance: Asuka is a beautiful young woman of average height with long burnt orange hair (dyed black), which is loose, with the flanks in twin tails with red Interface Headset, dark blue eyes, and a slender, curvy, voluptuous figure with large breasts. Her goth outfit consists of a black tank top, a red plaid skirt, black and white striped stockings, black combat boots, and a black choker. She also has a small black heart drawn on her right cheek. Sometimes, Asuka wears band shirts that range from My Chemical Romance and The All-American Rejects to Metalllica and Slayer as well as Korn and Slipknot. Other times, she wears a different goth outfit which consists of a dark grey short sleeved shirt with a collared white long sleeved shirt underneath, a black skirt with red lines, some belts and chains around her waist, fishnet stockings, black boots, and a red choker.

The year was 2019, it's been 4 years since Shinji had the guts to prevent the Third Impact from happening.
Now everyone is living out a (seemingly) happy life after his near heroic sacrifice.
During the holiday season, Asuka can be seen strolling the currently chilly streets of Neo Tokyo alone, while listening to "I'm So Sick" by the American rock band Flyleaf on her earbuds at near full blast.
"Oh yeah, this is the shit!", She exclaims. "This is better than the overplayed slop they call 'Christmas music'!".
Asuka then sighs thinking about Christmas before shit hits the fan for her growing up. She misses the days of spending Christmas in her native Germany. It was 4 weeks of buildup marked by Advent wreaths with four candles, advent calendars, and Christmas markets.
She loved the German traditions for Christmas. To Asuka, it was much better than the traditions from her deadbeat dad's homeland of America. The traditions embodied by the 3 words; materialism, consumerism, and commercialism.
"Thank God, I was raised in Germany, I don't pity the fools who grew up writing lists containing a shitload of toys and video games...", Asuka says as a tear begins to fall from under her eye.
