Fuxi (College AU)

Fuxi is a Solarian with light gray fur, physically resembling an ornamental shorthair cat, his ears are pinned directly up in intricate dark blue, gold and dark green headpiece, He wears red eyeliner and blue eyeshadow, and has slitted black pupils with narrow eyes. He wears a Cyan robe that matches his headpiece and reaches down to hide feet, decorated with gold geometric shapes on the side of leg, held by an ornate gold belt, and a gold padaung with a gold necklace made up of concentric half circles.

Fuxi, on the surface, seems to be a frivolous person who is only immersed in Penglai Peking opera with his younger sister, but deep down he is a responsible man who takes his duties as the head of the clan seriously. Despite being born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Fuxi still holds empathy and compassion for the lower classes of Penglai, often sponsoring philanthropic causes whenever he can. But despite his generosity, he is still slightly disconnected from reality due to his wealth. Often spending more time partying and performing rather than studying and taking his college courses seriously. Born into the Feng Clan, an ancient and wealthy aristocratic family from the Shang Kingdom, Fuxi, and his twin sister, Nuwa, grew used to a life of luxury. Despite their wealthy upbringing, the twins also worked as a pair of peking opera actors in Penglai. Although their mother expressed criticism and disapproval by calling their penchants low-classed, Fuxi didn't mind and cared enough to call Nuwa a "prima donna". After the passing of their mother, Fuxi and Nuwa took lead of the clan, whilst technically co-running the clan, Fuxi is the true head of the clan. Both the older and responsible twin, Fuxi handles a majority of the clan’s administrative and other duties in between his time spent at college. Due to their wealth, Fuxi only wanted the best of education for him and his sister, and eventually his gaze drew to the University of Penglai, and after a few months of applications and “donations”, he secured enrollment for him and his sister. Fuxi and Nuwa brought their love for drama and acting to the college, establishing and leading the school’s drama club/department. Often starring in plays and other shows. Nuwa: The younger of the two, Fuxi’s twin sister and co-leader of the Feng clan. Nuwa is physically Identical to Fuxi, with the exception of her slight disability when it comes to walking, often sporting a knee brace or crutch to get around campus. She sports a similar headpiece to Fuxi’s as well as a matching padaung and necklace. Jiequan: A red-furred dark maned Solarian resembling a lion, Jiequan is sole heir to Jie Kingdom, a kingdom infamous for plunging Penglai into a war torn Era known as the “Turbulent Era”. During said Era, the Jie Kingdom implemented many war technologies that were unfortunately of Ying craft and design, also souring the pacifist kingdom’s reputation and history. Due to their shared status as nobles, Fuxi is quite familiar with Jiequan, being somewhat amicable, until Jiequan’s messy breakup with his ex, Yi. After which, Fuxi began distancing himself from Jiequan as the lion’s obsession with Yi began to bleed into his social life, having to kick Jiequan out of several parties for harassing Yi.

Yi: a brilliant scientist yet emotionally reserved and often aloof. He is a short, pale-furred Solarian hailing from the Xia Kingdom. Yi and Fuxi haven’t truly interacted, outside the times he’s given him sanctuary from Jiequan’s obsessive stalking. But despite that, Fuxi has had a few passing fantasies about Yi from the few good looks he’s gotten at him.

Kuafu: An orange-furred and chubby Solarian craftsman from the Ying Kingdom. An avid lover of food with a particular love for Milk tea, Kuafu is quite fat and big. He is kind and very reluctant to hurt others and is a close friend to Yi. Fuxi and Kuafu have interacted a few times together, mostly whenever Fuxi’s beloved Zhu.

Eigong: The headmaster and lead scientist at the university of Penglai. She is a cordial and upfront scientist, and a mentor to Yi. Albeit reluctant to let the Fengs enroll in the university, she was eventually swayed by Fuxi’s generous donations to the university as well as a few to her personal scientific ventures, but despite all that, she is slightly exasperated by Nuwa’s antics when it comes to the parties the Fengs host.

Ji: A white-furred androgynous Solarian haling from the island of Kunlun. Ji, also know in legend as the “Kunlun Immortal” is an enigmatic figure who is seemingly ageless. Having lived for thousands of years and witnessed many important events in Penglai history. He possesses the ability of Divination His is completely detached from life and holds no value in it. Despite Ji’s detachment, he enjoys spending time with Fuxi, swapping some tales over alcohol and he often attends the parties Nuwa throws.

Lady Ethereal: A light pink-furred lynx like Solarian. Yi’s colleague and an all around friendly and compassionate woman, Known for her studies in virtual reality technology. Finding her work respectable, Fuxi has funded her work on occasion and has an amicable relationship with her.

Goumang: a dark-Blue furred Solarian. The university’s lead botanist/agriculturalist, a firm believer of survival of the fittest, and a somewhat ruthless person with deep emotional complexities hidden beneath the surface. She is the universities lead on genetically modifying crops, she and Fuxi only know each other via name and passing glances, but have never talked.

Yanlao: A red-furred Solarian, sporting an incredibly short build, large yellow eyes, a yellow nose and a long, droopy white mustache. He is the oldest staff member in the university and serves as an archivist for Eigong. Fuxi, in an act of slight selfishness, had utilized Yanlao on occasion to store various artifacts and heirlooms from The Feng clan, mostly out of a desire to preserve his family’s history in specific, and to ensure none would know of the clandestine deal, Fuxi gave Yanlao a generous bribe as well as funding an expansion to the college’s library.
