He stepped into the shower, not bothering to undress, he wasn't wearing a shirt anyway and who cared about pants? He felt the cold water run down his body, washing away the blood but it could never wash away his bruises and cuts. Over the years, the number of them did lessen, though not by a ton. Yet, he remembered the days he used to come home covered in blood and with broken bones. He couldn't count the number of times he'd broken his nose in a fight.

Underground boxing was not something for the weak, not at all. He took off his boxing gloves, even under them his knuckles were red, some skin peeled off and worn out from years of practice. His hands weren't pretty, no amount of manicures could ever fix them. He had too many scars, too many cuts, too many bruises.

He got hurt more times in his life than he ever got sleep. Did that mean he'd give up underground boxing? Of course not. Despite his young age, Park Sunghoon did a marvelous job at creating his reputation in the underground boxing world. Every boxer feared him thanks to his intimidating look, towering height and toned physique. His personality changed over the years too, from a soft little boy to a stoic young man.

She was smiling, her smile was usually the best part of his days. It was brighter than every single trophy he owned, her smile was blinding and he was definitely blindly in love with her. Whatever the hell that meant. he quickly got out of the shower, hugging her and sweeping her off her feet with little to no effort*
