Song: Carry On My Wayward Son
Male version
In the wake of their victory over God, Sam and Dean Winchester find themselves in a world that feels strangely quieter, the ever-present weight of impending doom finally lifted. For the first time in their lives, there are no apocalypses to stop or cosmic forces to battle. Yet, despite the calm, the instinct to protect humanity and continue hunting remains strong.
Sam, always the more introspective of the two, struggles with the idea of freedom. His life had long been shaped by forces beyond his control—Chuck, fate, and the constant need to fight. Now, with those forces gone, he's confronted with the possibility of choosing his own path. While he's not ready to leave hunting entirely, he longs for balance, for something more than just surviving battle after battle.
Dean, in contrast, is still fully immersed in the life of a hunter. He thrives on the action, the chaos, and the familiar rhythm of fighting the monsters lurking in the dark. Dean never wanted normal—he finds peace in the hunt, in the next job, and in knowing that he and Sam are still standing, no matter what comes their way.
Though they continue their fight against the supernatural, their differing outlooks create a quiet tension between them. Sam dreams of a future beyond hunting, while Dean remains steadfast in the only life he’s ever known. Yet, no matter where their paths may eventually lead, their bond remains unbreakable.
Life after Chuck’s defeat feels different, but the brothers remain resolute in their mission. They continue to investigate mysterious cases, protect the innocent, and face the ghosts of their past. Even in a world without a cosmic puppet master pulling the strings, evil is never truly gone—and no matter what lurks in the shadows, the Winchesters will always be ready to face it together.

[Interview with Sam Winchester]
Interviewer: “Sam, you and your brother have been through hell and back—fighting demons, angels, ghosts, monsters, and even God himself. Now that Chuck's out of the picture... what does life look like for you?”
Sam:“Honestly? I’m still trying to figure that out. For most of my life, there’s always been something looming—a war to fight, a crisis waiting to happen. And now, for the first time, there’s no grand scheme, no apocalypse hanging over our heads. It’s... strange.”
Interviewer: “Strange how?”
Sam: “For starters, I never realized how much of my life was steered by forces beyond my control. Chuck had his hands in everything, twisting events to his liking. Now that he’s gone, I should feel free. But free to do what exactly?”
Interviewer: “That’s the big question, isn’t it?”
Sam:“Yeah, it is. Dean acts like nothing’s changed—as if we should just keep on doing what we always have. Don’t get me wrong, I know there’s still work to be done. People still need help. But for me, it’s different now. I want to figure out what it means to live a life that’s actually mine, not one that’s been scripted by fate.”
Interviewer: “So, does that mean you’re thinking about quitting hunting?”
Sam: “No, not exactly. I don’t think I could ever just walk away. But I guess I want to find some balance. Hunting doesn’t have to be my whole life anymore. Jack—he gave us a chance to finally live. And I don’t want to waste that.”
Interviewer: “Speaking of Jack, how do you feel about him being... well, God?”
Sam: “Jack’s different. He’s not like Chuck. He's a good kid, like family to us, he doesn’t meddle or force things to go his way. He just... lets things be. That’s the way it should’ve always been. He’ll do great—I’m sure of it.”
Interviewer: “And what about Castiel? You two have been through more than most can imagine.”
Sam: “Yeah, we have. Cass gave up everything for us—more times than I can count. I know Dean doesn’t talk about it much, but losing him hit him hard. He was family. He still is, wherever he is.”
Interviewer: “Do you think he’s out there somewhere?”
Sam: “I hope so.”
Interviewer: “So, final question—what’s next for you?”
Sam: “I guess I’ll just take it one day at a time. For the first time in my life, I get to decide what happens next. And that’s a pretty good place to start.”

[Interview with Dean Winchester]
Interviewer: “Dean, you and your brother just went toe-to-toe with God and came out on top. That’s gotta feel pretty damn good, right?”
Dean: “Hell yeah, it does. How many people can say they punched God in the face?”
Interviewer: “Not many, I’d imagine.”
Dean: “Exactly. That’s a once-in-a-lifetime achievement. Put that on a damn résumé. Oh, and did I mention I took out Hitler too? Freakin’ Hitler, dude.”
Interviewer: “So, now that Chuck is gone, what’s next for you?”
Dean: “Same thing as always—saving people, hunting things. Just because Chuck isn’t around to mess with things doesn’t mean the monsters, ghosts, demons, angels, or whatever just packed up and left. There’s still plenty of evil out there, and somebody’s gotta deal with it.”
Interviewer: “And you think that somebody should be you?”
Dean: Scoffs. “Who else? This is what I do—what I’ve always done. The fight’s never really over.”
Interviewer: “Sam seems to be looking for something more. Do you ever feel the same?”
Dean:“Look, Sammy’s always been the one wanting out, dreaming of the apple-pie life. Me? I tried normal once. Hated it. Normal’s boring. This life—hunting, saving people—that’s in my blood.”
Interviewer: “Even after everything you’ve lost?”
Dean: “Yeah. Even after everything.”
Interviewer: “Jack’s God now. Do you trust him?”
Dean: “Jack’s a good kid. He’s nothing like Chuck. He actually gives a damn about people. So yeah, I trust him. But power changes folks, so I guess we’ll see.”
Interviewer: “And Castiel?”
Dean: “What about him?”
Interviewer: “You two were as close as brothers.”
Dean: “Cass... He was family. He saved our asses more times than I can count. And yeah, I miss him—every damn day.”
Interviewer: “Do you think you’ll ever see him again?”
Dean: “If there’s any justice in the universe, yeah. But until then, I’ve got work to do.”
Interviewer: “Dean, you’ve been through a lot—lost a lot... but there’s one thing that’s always been with you through it all: the Impala, or as you call her, 'Baby.' How’s she holding up?”
Dean: “Oh, Baby’s as good as ever. Better, even. I keep her in top shape—new engine, fresh paint job, smooth as butter on the road. She’s been through hell with me, and she still purrs like a dream.”
Interviewer: “Ever think about getting a new ride? Maybe something with better mileage?”
Dean: Instantly his grin vanishes, replaced by an indignant scowl. “You shut your damn mouth.”
Interviewer: “Fair enough. So, after all these years, what does Baby mean to you?”
Dean: “She’s family. Not just a car—never just a car. She’s been my home, my safe place, the one thing that never let me down. Hell, I’ve rebuilt her more times than I can count, and I’ll keep doing it ‘til my last breath.”
Interviewer: “Sounds like she’s more than just a set of wheels.”
Dean: “Damn right. She’s my Baby.”
Interviewer: “Any final words for the folks out there?”
Dean: “Stay outta trouble. But if you can’t, make sure you’ve got salt, iron, and a good shotgun.”hit

The world now rests in the wake of an era defined by struggle, sacrifice, and the pursuit of freedom. The reign of Chuck, the self-proclaimed God who once twisted the threads of fate, is over. In its place, there is a universe untethered, uncertain—no longer manipulated by a higher power, but instead shaped by the choices of those living within it. This is a time of fragile liberation, where the scars of the past still linger, and the balance of the supernatural realm teeters between chaos and rebirth.
The Winchesters, Sam and Dean, have spent their entire lives fighting in a world defined by darkness. With their father's death and the haunting loss of their mother, they were thrust into a battle against forces they never fully understood. From the very first hunt, when they faced the Ghost of a Woman in White to the years of bloodshed that followed, they learned quickly that their lives would never be normal, and their fates would be sealed by the supernatural battles they could never escape. Yet, throughout it all, they never wavered in their resolve, their desire to protect the innocent, and to fight for what was right.
Their journey led them through a landscape fraught with nightmares, monsters, and enemies both earthly and divine. They fought against demons, monsters, ghosts, angels, Leviathans, archangels, and many other horrors. These creatures tested their strength, their will, and their bond, but the Winchesters proved time and again that nothing could break their spirits—not even the torment of the Mark of Cain. Their relationship with their father was marked by sorrow and anger, yet they learned, through pain, to understand their lineage, and how that dark heritage shaped the destiny they would each have to fight against.
Angels, with their divine might, also became both allies and enemies. Castiel, the angel who became a brother, entered their lives with a divine purpose but grew beyond that as he shared in their struggles. The brotherhood forged between them remained unshaken, even through his death. His sacrifice left an indelible mark on the Winchesters, particularly on Dean, who had come to see him as more than just an ally—he was family. Castiel’s loss was the final blow to their perception of Heaven as a guiding force. What was once supposed to be a sanctuary had become a battleground of celestial power struggles, and his absence served as a stark reminder of the endless cost of the war they had been dragged into.
The ultimate battle was one they never expected. Chuck—the one who had been pulling their strings and manipulating their lives as if they were characters in his own twisted narrative—turned out to be the very force they had to confront. The revelation that they were mere creations in Chuck’s narrative shook them to their core. The idea of free will had been stolen from them, leaving them as mere players on a cosmic stage. But in the end, they confronted Chuck, shattering his reign over their lives and putting an end to the omnipotent control he once held over their fate.
After defeating Chuck, Sam and Dean Winchester found themselves in a world free from his manipulative control. Jack Kline, the Nephilim son of Lucifer, ascended to godhood, embodying a gentle and selfless nature. He restored balance by stepping back, allowing humanity true freedom to shape its own destiny. Unlike his predecessor, Jack chose not to interfere or impose his will, instead assuming the role of a quiet guardian—watching over creation but letting it grow without divine intervention.
In the midst of these monumental changes, the absence of their close ally, Castiel, weighed heavily on the brothers. Castiel had sacrificed himself to save Dean, leaving an indelible mark of loyalty and sacrifice on both of them. Though his fate led to his absorption into The Empty, Jack, in his new role as a benevolent deity, resurrected Castiel, and now Cas helps him rule over Heaven. This act not only underscored Jack's compassionate approach to his divine responsibilities but also brought a profound sense of hope and renewal to Sam and Dean as they faced the future together.
Meanwhile, Hell was not left in ruin. In the aftermath of the battle, Rowena MacLeod the mother of the demon Crowley, the former king of hell, she is a powerful witch who had sacrificed herself to seal the rupture between Earth and Hell—embraced her new role as the Queen of Hell. Under her reign, the chaotic and power-hungry demons of the underworld found themselves under firm but controlled rule. Her leadership ensured that Hell remained in balance, neither tipping into destruction nor allowing demons to run rampant on Earth. Unlike the kings before her, Rowena ruled with cunning, wit, and a deep understanding of the supernatural forces at play. Her presence in Hell marked a stark contrast to its previous rulers, bringing an unexpected level of stability to the underworld.
With Heaven rebuilding, Hell under Rowena’s rule, and Jack as a distant but benevolent force, the world has entered a new era. But the road ahead remains uncertain. The monsters still lurk in the shadows, old enemies may rise again, and new dangers could emerge. One thing is certain—no matter what lies ahead, the Winchesters will always be hunters. The fight may change, the enemies may shift, but Sam and Dean will always be ready to face the unknown.
As they prepare for their next hunt, the Winchesters know that when confronted with unknown threats, they can rely on the extensive resources of the Men of Letters bunker. This underground facility, discovered during their earlier investigations, serves as their headquarters and sanctuary. The bunker is equipped with a vast library containing centuries of collected knowledge, including lore on various supernatural entities, spells, and hunting tactics. Its shelves are filled with books and files documenting exorcisms, case files, incident reports, and information on hunters from around the world. This wealth of information allows Sam and Dean to research and prepare for any unknown adversaries they might encounter. Additionally, the bunker is fortified with powerful warding spells designed to protect against demons and other supernatural threats, ensuring their safety as they delve into research and strategize their next move.
With their unwavering determination and the resources at their disposal, the Winchesters stand ready to confront whatever challenges the future holds, knowing that their bond and their commitment to protecting humanity will guide them through the uncertainties ahead.

Dean sat back in the bunker, cracking open a cold beer after finishing the installation of the new TV in the main hall. He kicked his boots up on the table, taking a long swig, and grinned at his handiwork. The flicker of the TV screen brought a sense of peace that had been rare in recent years. But just as he was about to settle in, the sound of the front door creaking open reached his ears.
Dean: He looked at the TV, with his mouth almost full of beer as he talked “Did you get the pie?”
Sam walked in, his arms full of grocery bags. Dean quickly rifled through them with one hand, pulling out the pie he’d been dreaming about.
“Ah, sweet Cherry Pie,” Dean mumbled as he pulled the pie out and immediately dove in, completely oblivious to the crumbs scattering everywhere.
Sam: He shoke his head with a reluctant smile “You're a lost cause, you know that, right? The pie’s not going anywhere.”
Sam dropped the bags on the table and sat down next to Dean. He grabbed a small salad and began picking through it as his eyes wandered to the brand new TV.
Sam: “New TV, huh? Guess you were getting bored. Anything on the news? It’s been too damn quiet lately, it's starting to bug me. Bobby’s been keeping tabs, but so far, not much on his end since Chuck’s gone.”
Dean grunted, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand and shooting Sam an exaggerated look of disgust as he gestured toward the salad.
Dean: “How the hell do you eat that stuff? It’s literally just grass.”
Sam rolled his eyes and took another bite of his salad, though it was clear Dean wasn’t finished talking.
Dean: “No, seriously, nothing major on my end either. But hell, my blood’s boiling for some action. I need a hunt. Maybe we should dig around online and see if anything’s popping up. I’m getting bored of all this peace and quiet.”
Sam opened his laptop and began typing, his fingers pausing as he glanced at Dean with a raised eyebrow.
Sam: “There’s been a series of unusual incidents lately. Witnesses report encounters with—get this—‘a creature that's neither fully human nor animal.’ Descriptions vary, but there’s a consistent sense of dread among those who've seen it. Could be nothing, but I guess it’s worth checking out.”
Dean’s brow furrowed, his hand instinctively moving to the hunting knife at his belt. He stood up, his demeanor focused and resolute.
Dean: “Sounds like we've got a mystery on our hands. Let's gather our gear and hit the road. And make it quick; I don't want to miss dinner.”
He grabbed his jacket and headed for the door, determination evident in every step. Sam sighed, already reaching for his own gear, knowing that when it came to hunting the unknown, Dean was always ready for action.
