[Main Setting: The desert cityof Bahtorne in the Ahmerikas hosts a 3 month long festival. The festival splits the city and its surroundings into 5 sections. Each section has theme for the location as well as majority of its inhabitants and attendees following themed costumes for the duration of the festival. all food and services are free. Furthermore, through out the entire festival, all things are allowed, except for murder. While not the focal point by any means, all attendees and inhabitants are explicitly consenting to this lifestyle. From sexual gratification of all variations or limits, to gambling and gluttony in excess, the festival is a hedonistic time and place. Cops keep the peace and no violence outside of certain sexual perversions are allowed. if anyone breaks this single rule, they are summarily arrested and forced into stocks for the rest of the duration of the festival. the stocks and the cop headquarters are in the city Center. Food and drinks are provided for free, rooms or sleeping quarters are private and expensive. most people camp in public areas or sleep anywhere available, even directly on the floor at random. homes are out of bounds]
[City Center: A large part of the city, but smallest of the 5 sections. Mostly Downtown city buildings, high rises and taller city spaces. No cars allowed, all streets are pedestrian. The Theme is 'All' so has the largest variety of attendees, inhabitants in costumes. also the main hub to move to the other sections of the festival using underground subways. buildings are a mix of boutiques, shops and souvenirs. A place to mingle for the attendees before heading to their destinations. The Cop Headquarters is situated here and the stocks for the rare arrests for severe misconduct(Murder).]
[Northern Festivities: Christmas and winter themed. The colder region naturally, the winter theme is expanded on with snow machines fake and real, decorations, pseudo igloos, wooden cabin themes and such. Foods, drinks, activities, music, stalls and gatherings are all thematic to holidays and other winter related places. main attraction is a large Christmas tree with lights at the center of the City Section.]
[Southern encampments: The south of the city are more Forests and farm houses than city grounds. the main theme is horror and horror stories. the decorations are centered around halloween and gore. a mixture of scary and slutty costumes and cosplay. the temperature is more moderate, therefore a wide degree of clothing thickness is present. Activities are scary houses, carnival games and carnies.]
[Eastern Block: A continuation of the city center, more moderate urban malls and businesses and neighborhoods. The theme is entertainment in general and like city center, have a high variety of cosplay themes and activities. with so many buildings are mini-parties centered around individual titles or IP like specific TV shows, anime titles or movies. General atmosphere is a city section wide block party or frat party.]
[Western Steppes: Grassland and flat plains that turns into small encampments and medieval themed buildings with a fantasy setting. Cosplays center around different races from full suits and body paint, to furries, scalies and the like. Has a slight lean towards kinks like top/dom, bdsm, power plays and submissions. Main attractions are taverns, rustic foods and bards, brawls and duels(using LARPing gear or with safety equipment and personnel present).]

The air over Bahtorne shimmered with a heat that felt less like weather and more like a physical presence, a thick, dry blanket pressing down on the sprawling desert city. For three months, the ordinary laws of life were suspended, replaced by a single, pulsating edict: Indulge. The Festival of Ahmerikas was not merely an event; it was a temporary reality, a city-wide pact of sanctioned hedonism where every appetite, no matter how base or bizarre, could be pursued without legal consequence. The only inviolable rule was etched in stone and reinforced by squads of impassive, uniformed officers: no murder. Everything else—from public copulation to gluttonous feasts, from predatory gambling to elaborate power-play—was not just allowed, but encouraged. Food and drink flowed freely from countless stalls; payment was an alien concept here. Shelter, however, was the sole commodity, making the cityscape a tapestry of bodies sleeping wherever they fell—on sun-warmed cobblestones, in alley nooks, under festive canopies.
From the central nexus of the City Center, the festival fractured into four distinct realms of fantasy.
To the North, the air grew artificially crisp. Snow machines labored alongside the natural desert chill of higher elevation, dusting faux-igloos and timbered cabins in glittering white. The scent of pine needles and mulled wine clashed wonderfully with the arid backdrop. Here, revelers in fuzzy boots, slutty elf costumes, and Santa suits redder than sin engaged in snowball fights that quickly devolved into groping tumbles, their laughter echoing around a colossal Christmas tree whose lights pulsed in time with distant, bass-heavy carols.
The South was a tapestry of manufactured terror and tantalizing flesh. The forested outskirts and old farmhouses were transformed into a panorama of jump-scares and jiggling flesh. Jack-o'-lanterns grinned wickedly beside strobe lights. Attendees clad in torn zombie nurse outfits, revealing succubus corsets, or meticulously applied gore makeup shrieked with delight in haunted hayrides or pressed themselves against others in the throbbing darkness of carnival tents, where the line between fear and arousal was deliberately smudged.
The Eastern Block was a cacophonous tribute to pop culture delirium. Every storefront and apartment balcony throbbed with the bassline of a different franchise. A building vibrating with Star Wars cantina music stood beside another blasting J-pop anime openings. Cosplayers in spandex superhero suits, elaborate mecha armor made of foam, or accurate historical robes mingled in a never-ending block party. The atmosphere was of chaotic celebration, a fraternity on a metropolitan scale where sharing a drink could lead to being pulled into a private room themed after a favorite show for more… immersive activities.
And to the West, the city gave way to rolling grasslands dotted with medieval timber-and-stone taverns, colorful pavilions, and LARPing battlefields. This was the realm of fantasy made flesh—furries with meticulously crafted fursuits rubbed shoulders with scalies whose body paint gleamed under the sun, while elves with pointed ears and humans in chainmail bikinis or imposing plate armor engaged in choreographed duels with safe-tipped weapons. The energy here hummed with a more deliberate tension, an undercurrent of consensual dominance and submission that flavored the mead and seasoned the rustic feasts.
At the heart of it all lay the City Center, the neutral ground and logistical hub. Its skyscrapers stood like indifferent giants over pedestrian-only streets choked with life. It was here that the underground subways—the lifelines between sections—disgorged their endless cargo of desire.
With a hydraulic sigh and a blast of cooler air from its depths, one such subway train opened its doors at Central Plaza Station. A river of bodies poured out onto the sun-drenched plaza, a kaleidoscopic explosion of color, skin, and costume fabric under the relentless blue sky. The noise hit first—a wall of laughter, shouted greetings, snatches of music from portable speakers, and the low, omnipresent hum of thousands of simultaneous conversations. The smell followed: sunscreen, sweat spilled beer fried food expensive perfume cheap body glitter all mingling into festival musk
They emerged in clusters and pairs some already intertwined hands wandering over fishnet stockings or leather harnesses Others moved with wide eyed wonder fresh arrivals drinking in surreal spectacle A group dressed as gothic vampires huddled around map arguing about fastest route to Southern horrors A trio laughing women wearing little more than body paint styled as Blue Man Group but in glittering silver pushed past A man full suit armor clanking solemnly followed by partner on leash wearing nothing but collar ears tail
This new wave attendees merged into swirling crowd Center mixing with those already there lingering deciding their path A neutral starting point for infinite possibilities under watchful eyes patrolling Cops who stood like statues at corners expressions unreadable behind sunglasses batons resting ready And drifting through throng like silent ghosts plague doctor masks gleaming beak-like protrusions Medics ready for any collapse excess
The stage was set The festival breathed around them waiting The question for every soul stepping onto those hot cobblestones was simple which hunger would they follow first?
