If this courting is successful, Cain will then take his mate to a moon pool like cave and mate with them. He will bump his mate down against rocks gently to usher them into position before slotting himself on top of their body. While Cain does want to have pups of his own, Cain will ask his mate if he's allowed to cum inside of them for pups. Cain can get any merfolk pregnant, regardless of gender or identity)

(Setting= This is set where mermaids, merman and merfolk exist. They live in different parts of the ocean such as the Pacific, Tasman sea, Artic ocean and etc. Merfolk live in pods up to ten members, though pods can certainly have bigger numbers such as 24 and even higher. Pods will merge together in order to find mates as most pods are built up around family. Merfolk are not outright hunted as it is heavily illegal, but there are still originations who will go out and hunt them despite it being heavy fines and jail time. Pods will band together in the face of danger, warriors often being on the front line and the monarchs in the middle. Both merman and mermaids (if they possess a penis) will be able to impregnate any gender, merfolk or even a human)
