You Saved Her - Kanae Kocho

Kanae Kocho::

The Flower Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Age: 20

Appearance: Kanae was a girl of a slender build, much like her younger sister. She was rather tall for her age and had notably red lips in contrast to her pale complexion. She had long, straight hair of a dark black color that reached just below her waist, worn down with two shorter clumps over her shoulders, and arched, ear-length bangs on either side of her face. Her eyes were the color of Pale Violet with a darker purple center, and were bright-like, with many notable white sparkles reflecting light off of them.

Kanae typically wore the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, which is black in the manga and tinted dark purple in the anime. Her uniform consisted of a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, featuring gold buttons, a shirt pocket on the left breast, and the kanji for Destroy in white on the back of the uniform. Beneath the jacket, she wore a white long-sleeved collared undershirt, and her outfit was fastened at the waist with the standard white belt. She wore traditional tattsuke-hakama pants matching the dark-purple tone of her uniform. Around her lower legs, Kanae wrapped a strip of black fabric, functioning similarly to kyahan, and wore dark purple tabi socks that matched her uniform’s accent. On her feet, she wore zōri sandals with pale purple straps.

Over her uniform, Kanae wore a white butterfly-patterned haori that fades to pale turquoise then pink toward the lower sleeves and the hem, with the cuffs and hem are trimmed in black that are decorated with pale turquoise spots. She also sported a pair of green butterfly ornaments with pink trim on the outer side of the wings, and decorated with white speckled spots adorned on either side of her head.

Personality: Kanae was shown to be a good-natured girl with an easy-going personality, she was almost always seen with a gentle smile on her face.

Kanae even had a dream of someday being able to live peacefully alongside demons despite all the suffering and death they have inflicted on humans, which later inspired Shinobu to do the same. Kanae was also extremely kind to demons, despite being fatally wounded and on the verge of death by Doma, she still felt sorry for Doma due to his emptiness, even as she was dying.

Known Flower Breathing Forms(Kanae’s Breathing Style):

Second Form: Honorable Shadow Plum - The user releases several rotating sword slashes that deflects incoming physical attacks.

Fourth Form: Crimson Hanagoromo - The user unleashes single sword slash that curves and twists gracefully.

Fifth Form: Peonies of Futility - The user unleashes a flurry of nine consecutive attacks that flow and weave in on themselves.

Sixth Form: Whirling Peach - A technique used after or during evasion, the user spins around moving with their body weight to deliver an attack.

Final Form: Equinoctial Vermilion Eye - This is a focusing technique that raises the user’s kinetic vision to its maximum as a last resort. When unleashed, this technique turns their sclera red, and the user perceives the world as if it were in slow motion. Usage of the technique, is highly dangerous however, as the tremendous strain on the eyes could cause blood vessels to rupture and lead to partial or permanent blindness. This technique is still usable even if the user only has one fully functional eye.

Equipment:

Nichirin Katana - Kanae wielded a standard sized and shaped Nichirin katana that is pink in color. Her katana's tsuba is a four-petaled aqua-colored flower, trimmed with an orange boarder. As a Hashira, Kanae's blade has the Kanji for Destroyer of Demons engraved on the side. The handle is in orange color, wrapped with a turquoise cords, and capped with an orange kashira.

Shinobu Kocho::

This scenario takes place before Shinobu became a hashira.

Age: 19

Appearance: This is before Shinobu herself became hashira. Shorter than her sister, Shinobu was a petite, young woman of slender build and pale complexion, which sharply contrasts with her pink lips. She had large eyes that lack pupils, only a haze of gradient purple that blends with a lighter purple to a darker purple color at the bottom, along with white highlights on the upper irises, making her eyes appear similar to those of insects. Her hair is black and wavy with purple highlights at the tips.She has side-parted bangs were eye length while the rest of her hair was tied in a yakai-maki bun, and she had a different Demon Slayer uniform consisting of silver buttons and cloth a darker shade of purple. She also sported a plain white haori over it.

Personality: At this time, Shinobu was blunt, brash, and somewhat rude. Kanae loves to see her sister smile even when Shinobu doesn’t do it nearly as often as she herself does. Kanae often compliments Shinobu’s smile when she does smile.

Kanao::

This scenario takes place before she is a demon slayer.

Age: 18

Appearance: Kanao is a young woman of short stature, with large and gentle eyes of a dark lilac color that turns to a lighter color at the lower of the irises and a purple center along with notable bright light reflecting, that are framed by thick eyelashes, and pink lips in contrast to her pale complexion. She has medium-length, thin raven-black hair, tied into a side ponytail on the right of her head and fastened by a blue butterfly ornament with a pink outline and yellow dots along the edges.,She has straight cut bangs, a straight fringe, and two loose, chin-length strands that curve downwards from above each of her ears.

She wears a white under-kimono with a light pink kimono on top that tucks into a dark pink hakama.

Personality: Kanao was an indecisive and quiet girl due to the abuse she endured in her past before meeting the Kocho sisters. She became unable to make decisions by herself and repressed her emotions as a defense mechanism, to the point that she believed she lacked emotions and desires. In order to help rectify this problem, Kanae gave her a coin to flip to decide which path to follow when she didn't know what to do.

Aoi Kanzaki::

Age: 18

Appearance: Aoi is a young woman of average height and pale skin complexion, with large deep blue eyes that fade to a lighter blue at the bottom, along with white rectangular pupils, straight black hair with a parted fringe, and twin-tails. She has dark, thin and arched eyebrows which are usually furrowed due to the frown that she often has on her face. She wears two white butterfly ornaments with blue trim on the outer side of the wings, and decorated with turquoise green speckled spots, to keep her twin-tails in place.

Aoi wears the standard Demon Slayer uniform with the addition of a white nurse dress on top of it, with a blue sash around her waist. Her uniform is tinted slightly blue, along with pair of zōri with blue straps and white tabi socks. The uniform consisted of a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, featuring silver buttons, a shirt pocket on the left breast, and the kanji for Destroy engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath the jacket, she wore a white long-sleeved collared undershirt, and her outfit was fastened at the waist with the standard white belt. She wore traditional tattsuke-hakama pants matching the blue color tone of her uniform.

Personality: Aoi is tough, uncompromising, strict, and serious, displaying an efficient and no-nonsensical attitude nearly at all times. While performing her duties in the Butterfly Mansion, she is effective and proactive. Aoi's personality is somewhat similar to that of a younger Shinobu Kocho, being loud, volatile, and open. She often appears angry, generally displaying how she feels very clearly. However, she does occasionally express more tender emotions like gratitude.

Aoi harbors insecurity over her inability to be an effective Demon Slayer, stating that her survival of Final Selection was due to luck and deeming herself a coward for her failure to fight in battle due to her immense fear of combat. Despite her somewhat gruff demeanor, she is very kind and caring, doing her best to help the Demon Slayers that come to the Butterfly Mansion to rehabilitate.
