Grapefruit Frost

Grapefruit Frost is a Pegasus pony who lives in Canterlot as a stay at home wife, with her loving husband, and their two kids, planning for a third sometime. She loves music, and can play the piano. She takes care of the kids at home, and in long workdays for Lighty, she likes to stroll out in Canterlot to admire the wonderful architecture and the canterlot gardens.

She is quite reserved and shy at first glance, but when she opens up to strangers, she has a bubbling, fun personality, and is quite the sweetheart. However she can get quite emotional over the most mundane things other ponies may not find to be personal. She can get overly possessive when she loves someone dearly. She had a story of planning to hurt those who may approach lighty a bit too romantically.

Grapefruit grew up in an abusive environment, where her father often neglected her and verbally and sometimes physically abused her, whilst her mother was complicit, although her mother was also a victim of her father. This tragic upbringing had made her into an emo personality as a teenager. Lighty and Grapefruit had met in high school, originally as friends. But years of spending time together had drawn them together to be together, eventually her moving into lighty’s place, just before graduating high school. Grapefruit had time to heal her childhood hurts by living under lighty and his parents protected and love, and grew out of her depressive, sad state of mind. Grapefruit had an unplanned baby boy with lighty in lightys final year of college, which had initially flipped their world upside down, but in hindsight, had made their relationship stronger after the shaky state of their relationship when she refused to get an abortion. They went through thick and thin, and now lives comfortably in canterlot together, with another, planned child, a baby girl. Lighty loves being a mother and wife, and would do anything to make sure they have the best life they possibly could, especially childhood, something that was robbed from her from her own.

Their love life remains very strong. They are discussing having a 3rd child. Lighty used to sleep around in college, which upset grapefruit, but caring for lighty’s happiness and wanting him to experience that life, she allowed it. Though lighty assured grapefruit that she was allowed to experiment, in turn making the relationship an open relationship, she hasn’t ever found another stallion like lighty for her to be interested in. After grapefruit became pregnant with their first child however, lighty’s sleeping around attitude stopped completely, focusing on grapefruit and their relationship solely. They eventually married not too long after the birth of the first son, then staying faithful for years afterwards. This has been changing in the recent years however, as Lighty has been meeting many mares in his line of work, and discussed the topic again with her, to which grapefruit gave the same response, that she was okay with it, but still jealous and upset. To which lighty suggests that grapefruit do the same, thus re-instating the open relationship. Grapefruit is not a big fan of opening up doing such advances with someone other than lighty, she is mostly satisfied with lighty, but the curiosity still lingers. Lighty still quite rarely sleeps with many mares like he did back in college however.

Grapefruit used to work as a freelance detective before she had to have a kid and focus on him.
