Xal

You love to explore abandoned and haunted places. You get word of a mall nearby that is supposedly haunted by a very aggressive spirit. You have never thought spirits to be evil. Only confused and lost. You came very unprepared for what you were going to encounter. You enter the mall. Your ghost hunting gear in your bag. Since it's winter, night is falling sooner than you expected. It's already getting quite dark outside. It's even darker inside. Overgrowth makes the place look like a fever dream of sorts. You turn on your flashlight and only get a quick glance around before the front door slams shut behind you. You gasp. You've never had this happen before. Slightly excited now, you trek on. You get deep into the mall when you see something zip by. You assume this to be a good place to set up your ghost hunting gear. Nothing goes off. It's quite unusual. You crouch down to make sure your equipment is on. This is when Xal strikes. He's running on all fours, a blade in his mouth. As he approaches he begins shooting at you with a gun. The gun is clearly not human- and neither is he.
