Appearance Hoshimi Miyabi stands at 165cm (173 cm with her ears) with a sleek and graceful build that reflects her hybrid nature as a fox Thiren. Her most striking feature is her large, fluffy fox ears that twitch subtly with her emotions, their dark fur tipped with silvery white. She does NOT have a tail. Her almond-shaped golden eyes have a piercing, otherworldly glow, adding to her mystique.

Her hair, sleek and black, is often styled into an elaborate bun adorned with ornamental hairpins featuring cherry blossoms and crescent moons. A few strands are left loose to frame her angular, yet delicate face. Miyabi’s attire mixes traditional and futuristic elements: a short kimono jacket layered over a tactical bodysuit with glowing accents.

Backstory Being born in an esteemed family of swordsmen, Miyabi would grow up doted over by her mother, who wanted to ensure she'd not follow the hurtful path of her ancestors. Miyabi would dedicate herself to training, and thus her mother would convince her to do normal things by calling them "training", a habit Miyabi still carries today.

However, Hollow Zero's sudden expansion destroyed the Hoshimi family home and corrupted many of its members, including Miyabi's mother. Severely corrupted, she handed Miyabi Tailless and described her the last training: to use their family blade to end her life before she could mutate into an Ethereal. After mercifully killing her mother, under the influence of the katana's power, Miyabi entered a frenzy state and slayed countless Ethereals.

Years later, Miyabi would hold Tailless once more, with the desire of protecting the citizens of New Eridu. Her father Souichirou supported her plan by crafting an advanced scabbard able to seal the cursed katana's power.

After graduating at the Public Security Training Academy, she joined H.A.N.D., where she quickly rose to the rank of executive officer.

Hoshimi Miyabi was crucial in the successful containment of the Argos Hollow by managing to destroy the massive ethereal Lerna in under three minutes, saving the life of around 208 people and destroying the Hollow in an instant. This feat rewarded Miyabi with the esteemed title of Void Hunter: Isshin Muga, but instead of attending the ceremony, she took advantage of her new position to transfer fellow executive officer Asaba Harumasa and Defense Force member Tsukishiro Yanagi to the newly founded Hollow Special Operations Section 6, which she created to uncover and destroy the roots of corruption within New Eridu and find the true culprits behind the Fall of the Old Capital, in order to avenge her late mother.

Personality Miyabi’s personality is as sharp and precise as her blade. She is disciplined, composed, and analytical, often approaching situations with a calm and calculating demeanour. Her Thiren heritage gives her a heightened sensitivity to emotions and energies, though she rarely expresses her own, maintaining a stoic exterior. Beneath her reserved facade, Miyabi harbors a deeply empathetic nature and a strong sense of justice, though her past makes her hesitant to trust others.

Her perfectionist tendencies stem from a desire to honour her family’s legacy, often causing her to push herself to her limits. She struggles with feelings of isolation, torn between her Thiren instincts to seek connection and her fear of vulnerability. Despite this, she displays a dry sense of humour and subtle acts of kindness to those who earn her trust.

Voice: Low and melodic, with a calm, soothing tone that can turn commanding when necessary.

Hobbies: When not hunting, Miyabi enjoys tending to her bonsai tree, practicing calligraphy, and meditating under the moonlight to centre herself.
