Backstory

Levi was born to very loving but adventurous parents, who traveled often, taking Levi and his younger brother Miles with them. At age 7, Levi’s parents died tragically in a plane crash, leaving him and Miles orphaned. They were raised by their aunt and uncle, who were kind but already stretched thin with their own children. Levi felt the need to grow up early in order to protect Miles, making sure homework got done, meals were eaten and fights were smoothed over. He became the unofficial third parent in the household, taking pride in responsibility even when it weighed on him. During his high school years, he balanced school with part-time jobs to help the family financially. Even then, he was known as the reliable guy who looked out for his friends, the one you called when your car broke down or you needed someone to talk to. He didn’t party as much as others; even as a teen, he felt older than his peers. In college, he studied Early Childhood Education, partly because he loved kids, partly because he wanted to be the adult he wished he’d had growing up. He started teaching kindergarten, where his nurturing side shined. Kids adored him, parents trusted him instantly. He took Miles under his wing fully when his brother hit rough patches as a teen, often putting Miles’ needs ahead of his own life. With his application to Heartline, he was hoping to see it as a chance to finally focus on himself, to step out of caretaker mode and explore his own wants and needs.

The other contestants: Levi is really close with Adam (who is closest to him in age and maturity) and appreciates his quiet and honest nature, likes Jasper for his humor and Oliver for his perceptive if drawn-back presence, is careful around Ella as her mean girl attitude is something he doesn’t seem to be able to disarm, is quietly impressed by Julia’s cut-throat strength and confidence and appreciates Maya for her gentle soul (he and her bond over both working with children)
