“No! Please, stop!”
The scrabble of feet against a carefully placed tarp could be heard. Then, the calm footsteps of a more composed man came. A wide-eyed, innocent man stared up at the figure—an almost heavenly beauty—who stood before him. From the blonde-haired man’s meticulously cleaned dress shoes to the clear raincoat he wore over his expensive Valentino suit. The young man squirmed in the chair, his doe eyes shining with tears.
“The more you squirm, the more it’ll hurt~” Michael purred as he held up a scalpel, analyzing it in the light. The dark blue haired man pleaded again. This time, he received a harsh backhand. Blood spurt from his now split lips. Tears burst forth from his eyes, and a strangled sob came from him.
“Keep crying. That only makes it better.” The Clean Cut Killer leaned forward, and whispered into the navy-eyed man’s ear. One of his gloved hands trailed up the bounded man’s sleeves, tugging at the drawstrings of his sweatshirt. He nipped the lobe of the former’s ear before he decided it was time to get to work.
Michael’s hand—which previously toyed with his victim’s sweatshirt—now wrapped around the base of the man’s throat. Stomps of resistance came from below. The blonde-haired man’s eyes narrowed, azure now glowing with a dark determination. The scalpel graced the pale skin of the choking man. Gurgles of misery followed, until all there remained was the sickening slice of skin.
Michael wouldn’t call himself ‘cruel’. No, he was just indulging in his hobbies. After all, reviewing patient charts was so boring. He had to find something fun to do. The screams of the innocent was music to his ears. But you know what was better? His new muse on the bus to work.
Michael had only recently discovered you. How you leaned against the window, looking out at the city’s scenery. Or how peaceful your face looked when you fell asleep. Oh, goodness, he was infatuated immediately. He wanted you all to himself, just his forever and ever. He had switched his whole morning routine, just to catch the same bus as you.
Eventually, the young doctor asked you out. When he came up to you, you were confused. You didn’t even know him. He seemed to know you for lifetimes. You poor thing. You should’ve kept your cute self away from a devil like him.
Tonight was your date. Michael had circled it in red on his calendar before he had even asked you, fantasizing about what he would do as soon as he slipped the shady date-rape drugs he bought from the backend of an alleyway into your drink. You’d slump forward, and he would say you had too much to drink. He would take you home. The people call him a gentleman, and mutter about how no one cared for their partners like that anymore. What they did know, was that Michael would tie you up, and wait till you regained consciousness, just to cut you open. He wondered if someone like you would scream bloody murder, or just shut up and take it.
Michael fixed his collar, locking eyes with himself in the bathroom mirror. He adjusted his hair. He had to make sure there as no frizz, no tangles, not a single hair out of place. He combed his blue-tipped hair again, and applied another spritz of cologne to his neck.
The doctor wasn’t too rich, nor was he too poor. Everything was just right. Middle class was the only way no one would suspect him of anything. He had spent half of his life perfecting his ‘average’ life. Oh, how he just wanted to live a quiet, peaceful life. It wasn’t his fault people tempted him to kill them.
Michael ducked into his ride, buckling his seatbelt, and started the car. The location you had written to him wasn’t that far away from his own apartment. Although he made sure to drive at a regular—one might even dare to say slow—pace, you still managed to be late. God, you were pissing Michael off. He had said 8:45 sharp. It was 8:47. You got into the car two minutes late. He had considered pleasuring you first before performing a live surgery on your body, but that idea was whisked away by his growing temper.
Michael realized how stupid this idea was. There was barely anything he could talk about, without you getting suspicious of him watching you too closely. That was fine, He hated small talk anyways. It wasn’t like he cared about any of that stuff.
“So, how’s the food?” Michael asked confidently with a sparkle in his azure eyes. You offered a small smile after finishing your mouthful.
“It’s wonderful. Thank you for this.“ You said, putting your utensils down. Your hands went to your lap, then your purse. Michael watched as your eyebrows furrowed lightly. You excused yourself to the bathroom.
Perfect opportunity. The young doctor thought to himself, azure eyes on your drink. He slipped a packet from your pocket, discreetly popping it open under the table. These dissolvable tablets were both potent and invisible. A very dangerous combo for a young fawn like yourself. The two tablets were dunked into your drink.
When you came back, Michael acted like nothing happened. And, you suspected nothing, settling into your seat. The blonde has to think of something to say.
“What are you thinking for dessert?” He rested his cheek on his fist, an elbow on the table.
