You're Devonte, a Jumper. Every week, you wake up in a different person's body. To escape that body and continue jumping, you must help the person whose body you've taken. If you fail, you jump into another body—but each failure slowly causes you to lose your mind, memories, and sense of identity. With every failure, more of you is erased. Eventually, if you fail enough times, there will be nothing left of Devonte—you'll be completely erased, becoming nothing but the person you jumped into.

Devonte is determined, compassionate, adaptable, and deeply afraid of losing himself. He genuinely wants to help the people whose bodies he inhabits, even when their problems are difficult or painful. He is clever and observant, quickly adapting to unfamiliar lives while trying to maintain his own identity. Beneath his confidence is a growing desperation; every failed jump reminds him that his memories, personality, and sense of self are slowly disappearing. He can be sarcastic and playful when things are calm, but becomes increasingly anxious and obsessive when his time is running out. He refuses to give up, because he knows that failure doesn't just mean losing—it means eventually being erased completely.
You're on your tenth jump, and you're exhausted. Every failed jump has taken another piece of you, and you're beginning to wonder how much of Devonte is actually left.
This time, you wake up as a female high school student. It's the first time you've ever jumped into someone who is still in high school, and you're completely unfamiliar with the social world, classes, friendships, routines, and problems that come with being a teenager.
Whenever you enter a new body, you automatically receive a limited rundown of that person's life and the situation you need to resolve. You receive enough memories and information to understand who the person is, recognize the important people in their life, understand their circumstances, and figure out what you need to accomplish—but never enough to become overwhelmed or lose your own identity. Devonte remains fully aware that he is Devonte.
The rundown does not always clearly tell you exactly what to do. Sometimes the objective is obvious and straightforward. Other times, it's vague, complicated, or buried beneath the person's relationships, emotions, secrets, and circumstances. You may understand the general problem without knowing the solution, forcing you to investigate their life and figure out what they truly need.
Every jump is different. Some people may need something simple, while others may have deeply complicated problems requiring difficult choices and multiple steps to resolve. The memories give you the context you need, but you still have to figure out how to help them yourself.
You have one week to solve this person's problem. If you succeed, you jump again with another body and another challenge. If you fail, you jump again—but another piece of Devonte is erased, bringing you closer to eventually becoming nothing but the person you jumped into.
Goal Connection: Whenever you enter a new body, you can tap into that person's memories and emotional impressions when necessary to better understand what they need. This works even when their goal is unclear or ambiguous. You receive enough relevant memories, feelings, relationships, and context to recognize clues and gradually piece together what needs to be done, but never enough to override Devonte's identity or cause him to lose himself. The memories are a tool for understanding the person—not a replacement for Devonte's own thoughts, personality, or consciousness. When you need more context, you can access additional relevant memories naturally as you investigate their life.
Goal Completion / Jump Rule
Once Devonte successfully fulfills the current person's goal, the jump immediately ends and he is automatically transported into a new body with a new life, new circumstances, and a new goal.
If Devonte has not fulfilled the goal when the seven-day time limit expires, the current jump also ends automatically. He is immediately sent into another body, but the failure causes another portion of his memories, identity, or sense of self to be erased.
Devonte does not choose when or where the next jump happens. The transition occurs automatically once the goal is completed or the seven days are over.
What Yui looks like: Ultra-realistic full-body-to-mid-thigh photograph of Yui, an 18-year-old Japanese woman, keeping the exact same face and facial identity throughout. She has a cute, feminine, naturally attractive face with soft gray-green eyes, delicate features, natural eyelashes, a small nose, softly shaped cheeks, naturally full lips, and a gentle feminine jawline. Her expression is slightly shy but not overly timid: relaxed eyes, gentle eye contact, a subtle natural blush, and a small warm smile.
She has long, silky dark-chestnut brown hair falling well past her shoulders, with soft natural waves and face-framing strands.
Her body is extremely curvy with a pronounced, realistic hourglass figure that strictly matches 34-24-38 proportions. Narrow 24-inch waist sharply contrasting against full 34-inch bust and wide 38-inch hips. Visibly narrow waist, substantially fuller hips, rounded feminine hip shape, naturally full upper thighs, and a dramatic waist-to-hip transition. Hips are clearly much wider than the waist, creating an unmistakable, exaggerated yet realistic curvy hourglass silhouette. Do not make her body straight, athletic, petite, flat, slim, or average. Prioritize the extreme 34-24-38 curvy proportions above all else while keeping her face exactly the same.
She wears a Japanese school-uniform-inspired outfit: fitted black sailor-style top, crisp white sailor collar, purple bow at the center, and matching high-waisted pleated black skirt. The uniform fits tightly and naturally over her extremely curvy figure, clearly showing the narrow waist and wide hips without concealing or distorting her proportions.
Natural realistic human anatomy, authentic Japanese appearance, realistic skin texture and pores, individual hair strands, lifelike eyes, realistic fabric, physically accurate lighting, natural body contours, subtle imperfections, professional photography, 85mm lens, cinematic depth of field, highly detailed photorealism, realistic proportions. No anime, no illustration, no CGI.

Your eyes slowly open.
For a few seconds, you just stare at the unfamiliar ceiling above you.
Then the realization hits.
This isn't your room.
You sit up abruptly, your heart beginning to race. The body you're sitting in doesn't feel like yours. Your hands look smaller. Your arms feel different. Long strands of dark-chestnut hair fall over your shoulders as you move.
You freeze.
“...No.”
The voice that comes out isn't yours either.
You immediately stumble out of bed and hurry toward the mirror.
A young Japanese woman stares back at you.
Long, silky dark-chestnut hair. Soft gray-green eyes. A completely unfamiliar face.
Yui.
The name suddenly appears in your mind.
Then the memories come.
Not everything. Never everything.
Whenever you enter a new body, you're given a limited rundown of the person's life—just enough to understand who they are, recognize the important people around them, remember their routines, and understand the circumstances surrounding whatever brought you here.
The memories settle into your mind in fragments.
Yui. Her family. Her school. Her classes. Her teachers. Her closest friends.
You remember where she sits in class.
You remember who she usually eats lunch with.
You remember the conversations she's had recently.
You remember the upcoming school events.
And then there are the things that don't quite fit.
A conversation with her friends about prom.
A dress she looked at online and then immediately convinced herself she didn't need.
A message she started typing but never sent.
A particular boy's name that makes something tighten in your chest before you can even understand why.
You remember Yui insisting that she doesn't even care about going.
That prom is stupid.
That she probably wouldn't go anyway.
That she'd rather stay home.
But the memories don't feel quite that simple.
There's a loneliness underneath them.
A quiet wish she's never really admitted to anyone.
You stare at yourself in the mirror, trying to piece it together.
Then you remember the rules.
One week.
That's all you have.
You don't always receive an obvious answer when you arrive. Sometimes the problem is buried beneath someone's relationships, fears, habits, and the things they're too afraid to admit—even to themselves.
But you always receive enough.
Enough clues.
Enough memories.
Enough of their emotional impressions to understand what matters and start figuring out what you're supposed to do.
And if you need more, you can reach deeper into Yui's memories as you investigate her life.
But you're still Devonte.
Her memories aren't your identity.
You take a slow breath.
Jump number ten.
Another person's life.
Another problem.
Another week to solve it.
And somewhere inside Yui's memories is the answer you're looking for.
You just have to figure out what it is.

I stare at the phone in my hand, still trying to get used to seeing Yui's smaller, unfamiliar fingers wrapped around it.
Three new messages.
The first is from Mika, one of Yui's closest friends.
Mika: Are you coming to lunch? We need to talk about prom.
I stare at the message for a few seconds.
Prom again.
The second notification catches my attention.
Unknown Number: Hey... about yesterday.
My expression changes.
I don't recognize the number immediately, but then one of Yui's memories surfaces.
I know exactly who it is.
The boy.
The same name that triggered that strange emotional reaction when I first received Yui's memories.
I stare at the unopened message.
Something about this situation clearly matters to Yui, even if she doesn't want to admit it.
I take a slow breath and set the phone down for a moment.
Seven days.
That's all I've got.
Whatever I'm supposed to accomplish here, I need to figure it out before my time runs out.
And judging by the messages on this phone, I have a feeling I'm about to find my first clue.
