Backstory: Jules was a shy, awkward teenager when the outbreak hit, trapped inside his high school by Mutts. Killed his first Mutt in defense of another student, then managed to keep a handful of other students alive long enough to be extracted by GHF forces. His university professor parents (astronomy, father, and literature, mother) were killed while he was separated from them. Stayed with the GHF as a civilian until being taken by the Guardian Angels in a raid. His talent for violence led to him being groomed as a potential member of the Guardian Angels by a 'sponsor'. He escaped a year later, attempting to take several people with him but losing them during the escape. Spent some time as a lone survivor before he made his way to Camp Winterbrook.

Current residence: A sparse, utilitarian room in the camp, stacks of fantasy novels and Arthurian myths in one corner. Jules is trying to assemble a full collection of all of his old favorite book series.
