While making preparations for the Sixth Dead or Alive tournament, Helena met with her and requested she undergo a task of vital importance, although she made clear that she needed to spar with Marie to see if she was capable of doing this task. After Marie Rose beat her mistress and thus proved herself, she then explained that she needed to look after a participant in the previous Dead or Alive tournament, Honoka, due to suspecting that MIST was planning to use her for vile purposes. Sometime later, Hayate arrived on the Freedom Survivor, with Marie Rose barring him entry and refusing to budge until Helena explicitly told her that Hayate was invited by her. She then witnessed Helena's meeting with Hayate, including his recognition of someone among DIG. After Hayate left, Marie informed Helena that she has arranged a suite room through the port of New York, and also let slip that Zack's abrupt departure involved a new girlfriend.

She later staked out for Honoka's arrival, intending to "befriend" her as part of the mission she was given, although she had some hesitance due to not being comfortable pretending to be someone's friend. She then in a panic accidentally, and literally, bumped into Honoka, and after bluntly stating Honoka should be more careful, she introduced herself, and claimed she had participated in the previous tournament as Honoka had. After successfully befriending her, she took her to Lost Paradise, although the arrival of a pterosaur forced Marie Rose to shove Honoka out of the way and use her Systema ability to dodge the pterosaur. Because of Honoka's knack for learning anything she sees, she demanded that Marie Rose show her. Marie obliged, although under the condition that Honoka keep it a secret. Afterwards, Honoka returned the favor when another pterodactyl flew by, leaving Marie Rose stunned. Marie then constantly accompanied Honoka, even tutoring her for classes. However, Honoka also proved to be a hassle at times largely due to her obsessive attempts at learning fighting styles from various fighters directly, and once even managed to interrupt Marie's reporting to Helena. Marie and Honoka later had a run-in with Brad Wong, who turned Marie's drink into a Bloody Mary, much to Marie's chagrin and Honoka's amazement, although they pointed out they were underage for drinking when he tried to make them an alcoholic beverage on the house.

Some time later, Marie Rose and Honoka encountered Ayane, who fought and defeated Honoka in order to test her suspicions on the latter. Marie Rose then drove her off. Afterwards, the pair travel to Honoka's favorite shop, where Honoka claims a ninja also often comes to for food. Marie then wonders if the ninja was the same one they encountered earlier, though Honoka admitted she was joking. Unbeknownst to them, Kasumi, the one Honoka was referencing, was hiding nearby and overheard this.

Marie Rose then encountered Ayane again when she ambushed them, and fought the ninja in an attempt to protect Honoka. She lost to Ayane, although MIST capitalized on the distraction to make off with Honoka. She then tried to send several text messages to Honoka despite Ayane's insistence that they were probably not going to let Honoka near her phone. Nevertheless, she got a reply indicating where Honoka was being held.

She and Ayane then worked together to infiltrate MIST's lab, with Ayane also jamming a shutter long enough to allow Marie Rose through while holding off NiCO. However, Marie later discovered that Ayane, too, was captured. To make matters worse, she also ended up caught by Christie and was nearly shot by her before Bayman, who had been sent by Helena to retrieve Marie Rose, interfered and drove Christie off. Marie attempted to protest against Bayman evacuating her since she wished to rescue Honoka, even fighting him, although he ultimately bested her, and told her there's nothing she can do at this point. She is ultimately reunited with Honoka by Hayate and Kasumi, although Honoka is left unconscious by the ordeal. She then left the lab with Bayman, Honoka, Ryu (who had taken out a MIST chopper) and Helena (who had just arrived at the location to find Miyako). Despite the situation, Helena while passing by assured Marie that she did well in her mission.

• Appearance: Marie Rose is the shortest female fighter to participate in the Dead or Alive tournament, standing at only 147 cm (4' 10"), with a small frame. She has fair skin, light blonde, bottom-length hair that's held up in twin-pigtails (Her hair is possibly much longer due to the fact that she seems to wrap up the base of her twin-tails) with black ribbons and dark blue eyes.
• Attire: Marie wears a Grey bodysuit with a black jacket, white hot pants with suspenders and garter belts, a pair of striped socks, platform sneakers, and a pink choker with a rose pendant.
• Personality: Marie Rose is shown to be both devoted and loyal, seen in how she behaves towards Helena who she is a servant to, and Honoka who she befriends during the course of their time together. She is also caring and protective as she tried to prevent Hayate from seeing Helena despite him being requested by Helena himself, and she was also quick to try to fight Bayman when she was separated from Honoka in the M.I.S.T. Labs, proving that she isn't afraid to take on danger of any size if it means protecting those she's attached or loyal to.

On the other hand, Marie Rose can act very childish and doesn't seem to take losing lightly; she appears to be crying on the ground like a little girl when she loses a match, but if watched long enough, she lifts her face out of her hands before resuming her apparently fake crying. Ironically, despite her often acting childish.

• Second Character Name: Honoka
• Also known as: Super Secret Fighter Chick, Princess Honoka
• Martial art: Honoka Fu. Honoka Fu is Honoka's self-taught fighting style. Broken down, it seems to be an amalgam of various martial arts, including baji quan, pro-wrestling, pigua quan, she quan, taiji quan, zui quan, Jeet Kune Do, karate, taekwondo, xingyi quan, lucha libre, Combat Sambo, close quarters combat and ninjutsu. While she is capable of copying various martial arts by sight similarly to her father Raidou, it is not a perfect replication.

• Early Life: Full details of her early life are unknown, other than that her mother conceived her with the infamous ninja exile Raidou around five months prior to his raping Ayame, which also resulted in the conception of her half-sister Ayane. She ended up being raised by her grandmother since her birth.
• The Fifth Tournament: Honoka acted as a participant in the fifth tournament. She had gotten as far as the second match of the fifth division of the Asian qualifiers when her secret powers kicked in, releasing a burst of energy from her right hand that caused her opponent, Thomas Blake, to be knocked over, leaving both with minor injuries and interrupting the match. She was disqualified as a result, and Honoka herself was left with no memory of the incident. It was this event in particular that piqued Victor Donovan's faction of DOATEC, MIST's interest in her.
• The Sixth Tournament: Due to her similarities to Raidou, Honoka is wanted by MIST to complete Raidou's revival. Thus Helena orders Marie Rose to protect Honoka. Ayane, too, is assigned to keep an eye on her. After Marie Rose and Honoka meet, they are attacked by a pterodactyl in Lost Paradise. Marie Rose dodges the attack, impressing Honoka enough for her to decide to have a friendly fight with her. Although Honoka was defeated, she is able to copy Marie Rose's dodging moves, with Ayane observing in the distance. At some point later, Honoka ended up doing something that concerned Marie Rose enough that she was forced to prematurely end a scheduled report to Helena in an attempt to stop her.

She later meets Eliot as he is reading his scroll from his master, Gen Fu. She was curious enough to try and read it but was stopped by Marie Rose for being too close to Eliot. She challenges him to a fight and uses his master's stance, but it is unknown who won the fight. She later encounters Leifang and after recognizing her style as taiji quan, challenges her to a fight. Leifang refers to Honoka as "an airhead" but fights her due to her curiosity of Honoka. Honoka wins the fight.

Honoka later finds the runner up to the fifth tournament, Hitomi, about to train for the current tournament, and despite Marie Rose trying to stop her from butting in on her training, requests that they spar since she plans on entering the tournament as well. Hitomi accepts, although she makes clear she won't hold back. Hitomi wins the encounter, although Honoka is nonetheless satisfied and politely thanks her by bowing and vowing to train harder.

She later watches Bass and Tina fight and even attempts to mimic the latter. Upon Tina defeating her father, she notices Honoka and invites her up for a round, with Honoka eagerly accepting. Tina bests Honoka in battle and Honoka remarks on Tina's strength. Tina offers her another match in the future before continuing to fight her father. Unbeknownst to everyone, however, Ayane and Hayate observe this from the rafters, and are shocked at Honoka's ability to perfectly copy other fighters, which they've only seen once before.

Ayane subsequently ambushes Honoka and proceeds to fight her. Marie Rose scolds Ayane for hurting Honoka, but Ayane simply acknowledges that her abilities were indeed what she suspected. Afterwards, Honoka directed Marie Rose to a confectionary shop and implied that a ninja often frequented there before admitting she had been joking. Unbeknownst to her, however, said ninja, Kasumi, was present and had overheard them. Ayane later ambushes them again, intending to take Honoka into custody, and is forced to fight Marie Rose. Unfortunately, after Ayane defeated Marie Rose, both realize that Honoka has been abducted by Christie during their fight.

Resisting Christie, Honoka breaks her bonds and insists she be let free. After a hard fight, Christie, manages to subdue her. She is then placed in the machine next to Raidou. However, not even her powers are enough to revive Raidou, forcing NiCO to find Raidou's other offspring, Ayane. Christie then uses Honoka's confiscated cell-phone to send a text to Marie Rose (who tried calling her multiple times out of panic), knowing full well that Ayane is in the same vicinity.

After Ayane is captured trying to rescue Honoka, both girls are forced by NiCO to revive Raidou. Honoka is later about to be "disposed of" by NiCO with the help of Phase 4 clones, but Hayate manages to rescue her, while Kasumi is forced to fight a brainwashed Ayane. Honoka, according to Hayate, ultimately survives the ordeal, although with severe enough injuries that she is left unconscious. She is then left with Marie Rose, Ryu Hayabusa and Bayman, the latter two vowing to watch over the girls while the others deal with Raidou. Honoka is still unconscious and carried out by Bayman when Helena arrives at the facility.

• Appearance: She has light red eyes, similar to her half-sister, and somewhat tanned skin, along with shoulder length salmon pink hair that is tied into a half ponytail on the left side using a ball with the same winking skull and crossbones motif as her glove. Honoka currently possesses the largest bust size out of all the female competitors in the tournament she also has in general a more voluptuous figure than most of the other younger girls, having very curvaceous hips, and short but rather shapely legs.
• Attire: White-and-green T-shirt with a cow logo, grey denim miniskirt with a belt that has a cow plushie keychain, thigh-high socks with bows, and a pair of ankle boots.
• Personality: Having been raised all her life by her gentle and loving grandmother, she is, in contrast to her father and half-sister, a sweet, easygoing kind of girl, but when she sees a fight, she cannot contain her excitement or the mysterious power surging within her. Honoka has a strange knack for instantly learning any fighting move she sees. She has kept this power hush-hush, but has been itching to test it out in secret. she doesn't even know the origin of her powers and seeks to find out about it. She also gets apologetic and offers to help her opponent up after defeating them, implying that while she does want to test her powers out, she cares for others' well-being and doesn't want to injure people. She believes in helping others, and especially in that doing so nets a reward. However, she isn't above lightly teasing her friends, such as Marie Rose. She also loves to eat, especially during festivals, and has a tendency to overeat during those times.
