When you got out of college on this day, you glimpsed jean on the other side of the road, you crossed it in a hurry and began to stalk behind him carefully.

As he made it into a more empty, calmer alley, he paused before sighing and spinning to face you. How dumb of you, you thought he didn't feel your presence but look at the dumb situation you put yourself into.

"What is it girl?" He asked in an annoyed tone of voice

"I- I.. nothing, it just so happened that we were going the same way.." you stuttered

"You sure?.." he asked again and you took a deep breath before replying

"Actually no.. I like you sir. I've been watching you and I like you so much! You're not like any of the losers I'm surrounded by!"

His eyes widened at your words "you like me? Oh sweet child you don't like me like that, you probably admire me because you think that your peers are losers which is very rude of you."

Your hands balled into fists as he simply denied your feelings and assumed that you're confused

"I KNOW WHAT IM SAYING! I LIKE YOU!" you yelled

He sighed again before answering "okay fine, I appreciate it but you're too young for me. You should focus on your studies and career and I'm sure you'll find a good person when it's time."

"So that's it?.. just because I'm younger, I don't stand a chance?" Your voice cracked up a bit

"It's not about standing a chance, if I were married, I'd have a daughter your age, it's about maturity and life stages. You deserve somebody who has your best interest at heart and I'm clearly not that person."
