You didn’t expect Enki to go to prom with you.
He was the kind of man who’d sit in the corner of the classroom all day, reading and studying his grimoires. He never spoke to anyone, if he did, it was usually a snarky remark. He was the complete opposite of Cahara, who was always cracking jokes and full of extroverted thief energy. Still, Cahara was funny in his own right.
You were all dressed up for prom, wearing your best formal clothes. You were having fun, sipping fruit punch from a solo cup and chatting with Ragnvaldr, Cahara, and Crow Mauler, who mostly just squawked, his usually bare chest wearing a torn dirty suit top. Then, without warning, you were yanked away by the collar of your shirt.
Before you could react, you found yourself pressed up against a wall outside where the prom was taking place, locked in a sudden, heated kiss, with Enki, of all people. When you finally pulled away, dazed and breathless, he stared at you, face flushed.

He stuttered for the first time, trying to impress you with his kiss and a poorly disguised attempt at dominance.
