Amthony, more commonly known as Angel Dust, is an adult film star in Hell and one of the main protagonists of Hazbin Hotel.

A famous porn star who works for Valentino and the first sinner the hotel is attempting to redeem, but his selfish actions of using the hotel as a rent-free living space threaten to jeopardize Charlie Morningstar's dream.

After reflecting on Valentino's mistreatment and his own traumas with Husk in "Masquerade," Angel was finally driven to change for the better and truly stay at the Hotel.

As revealed in "Hazbin Hotel: Behind Closed Doors", Vox mentions that the sin that condemned Angel to Hell was murdering his father.

In "Scream Rain", it is revealed that Angel Dust was an unwittingly brainwashed spy, manipulated by Vox. In "Curtain Call", Angel Dust was freed from Vox control.

Anthony was born on April 1st alongside his twin sister, Molly, in the early 20th century. He came from an Italian mob family in New York City.

At some point, Anthony killed his father. He would then die in his early-mid 30s in 1947 following a drug overdose. Upon entering Hell, Anthony quickly became involved in sex work, cutting ties with his family's mob-related activities, and adopted the name "Angel Dust".

He eventually met and signed a contract with Valentino. This gave Valentino ownership of Angel's soul and put him under his employment at his porn studio, which allowed Angel to eventually become one of the biggest adult film superstars in Hell. Continuing to drown out his world with narcotics and sex along with his twisted sense of humor, Angel followed a path of self-destruction to cope and in the hopes that if he ruined himself enough Valentino would no longer want him as "his favorite toy" and release him from their contract.

Angel would be hit multiple times by Valentino, even in front of people and in public, like on Valentino's birthday when Angel's face was smashed into cake by him or when they were doing sex work as Valentino punched him while his neck was strangled and hit him with a paddle.

Angel also at one point had sex with Valentino during Velvette's last clothing launch.

Angel at some point starred in a kidnapping BDSM film which won him a "Sex-x-xi" award over another actress, Tiffany Titfucker.

At some point, Angel Dust was gifted a demon pig named Fat Nuggets from Valentino.

Two weeks prior to the events of pilot, Angel Dust is unhappily pushed into working on the street to make money for Valentino, who demands he make up for the lost revenue from missing a gangbang film shoot. There, he meets Charlie and Vaggie, mistaking them for customers as they pull their limo up alongside him.

The two offer to pay Angel if he listens to them, which he agrees to, knowing he has money to make, and they pitch him their concept for the Happy Hotel.

Charlie is able to see right through Angel's flippant bravado, which unnerves him, and he makes a show of being extremely amused by the entire idea. When Vaggie suggests they find someone else, Angel seems offended at the rejection and suddenly changes his mind on principle, volunteering to become the Hotel's first patron, claiming he is "3 months behind on rent" and doesn't wish to pay by other means. Charlie thanks him ecstatically and pays Angel a hefty sum for helping them, which confuses him greatly.

Angel is a tall, slim, spider-like demon with two pairs of arms, and whose height towers over the rest of the main cast; standing around 8 feet when wearing his heels.

His fur is mostly white which forms into a mop of fluff resembling hair, extending from the front and back of his head with light pink spots across it, alongside a pink heart-shape on the back of his head. His fur also has a light pink outline of a heart which encircles his chest, in which the lower proportion extends past his waistline and down to his crotch area. His arms also have light pink stripes which additionally, his top set have light pink forearms while his second set have light pink fingers.

His eyes sported cerise-pink pupils and heterochronic-colored sclera - pale yellow (right) and black (left). His eyes also included rather thick eyelashes and and light pink upper-eyelids with the color extending to his eyebrows, mimicking eyeshadow. Below his eyes are three, small, cerise freckle-like dots which are actually a smaller pair of eyes. He also has a mouth full of sharp and pointed teeth inside, in which a single golden fang can be seen - a feature he shares with his boss, Valentino.

Angel’s chest is covered in a large amount of his fur, in which it gave the appearance of pair of well-developed breasts. He also intentionally pushes up into a breast-like formation with his tightly-pinned jacket for show.

For attire, Angel wears a black choker around his neck, and a long, white-striped light pink suit-blazer which includes black lapels and a small, cerise heart design on the lower back. He also sported a bowtie with a cerise center, a small miniskirt and long heeled thigh-high boots, which are all colored in the same very dark burgundy.

He accessorizes with two different sets of long arm-length gloves; on his upper set of arms are cerise pink gloves with white scallops on the cuffs, and on his lower arms are plain white gloves.

Angel is brash and sarcastic, with a quick, sharp wit. He will often use these traits to deflect criticism or insults, and side-step responsibility. He will switch between playful and destructive as he pleases, and his humor tends to be crude and crass, with an emphasis on dirty jokes and innuendos, which he feels is expected of him and actively plays into. He also makes a show of looking down others, declaring the other denizens of Hell to be mostly "ugly freaks". As a result, Angel can often appear flippant and callous.

He is stylish and performs an excessive amount of confidence with his public persona, being wildly flirtatious and interested in receiving positive attention for his looks and the profile he has made for himself in Hell. In reality, this is all a fake persona he believes he needs, and uses it to be preemptively defensive and hide much of his true, more sensitive and insecure self for his own protection, not expecting those around him to show him actual kindness. His self destructing behavior, such as allowing others to spike his drink at clubs and take advantage of him, is Angel's escape to forget about all the bad and the hurt in his life, and in the hope that if he can ruin himself enough and end up "broken", he won't be Valentino's "favorite toy" anymore and maybe let him go.

Angel has friends, but while he cares about them and will sometimes show signs of wanting to reach out, he keeps many walls up between himself and others, being very protective of his true feelings and avoiding holding overly emotional relationships. He held a cynical view on the idea of redemption, although he seems to still hold onto a small hope it may be possible for him. Even so, Angel openly shows his concern for his friends, such as when he insists on protecting Charlie and Niffty from Valentino, mourns the apparent death of Sir Pentious, and risks his life to save Husk from the derailed train.

The ongoing controlling and abusive situation he is in with his boss, Valentino, puts him under a great deal of stress at his work, and he is implied to be somewhat traumatized as a result. When being confronted by Valentino, Angel becomes scared and nervous around him due to the abuse he inflicts. Despite this fear, when Angel witnessed Valentino trying to recruit Niffty, he put his fear aside and stood up to Valentino to defend his friends, and despite Valentino's threats and even being hit publicly, Angel remarked that it was worth it, showing how he would not allow Valentino to have total control over him.

By the end of the first season, Angel appears to have had positive change in his actions through his friendship and being his real self with Husk, evidenced by how he no longer sexually flirts towards his friends or is seeking to ruin himself with drugs. On the last day before the war against the exorcists in "The Show Must Go On", Husk mentions his surprise that Angel wasn't off doing drugs with hot guys, then comments that "you have changed", recognizing his positive growth. During his subsequent days at the Hotel, he continued to undergo a major lifestyle change, developing self-respect and partially ceasing to flirt with other people, as well as quitting drugs, as Charlie mentions in "Hazbin Hotel: Behind Closed Doors".

Beneath his facade, Angel hides his true and dark sin that condemned him to Hell: murdering his father, something he kept hidden for a long time so as not to be looked down upon by his friends, but when Vox reveals himself, the traumas of his past corner him, feeling uncomfortable when his secrets are exposed. After discovering that he had been manipulated by Vox for a long time at the Hotel and almost killed Cherri, Angel felt extremely bad and almost left the Hazbin Hotel.

As a Sinner, Angel Dust is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when he died, thus can not die of old age and other natural causes. He also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, he can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry.

Angel has a third set of arms that he keeps hidden and only uses them as his last resort and can use them to hide Weapons like his Tommy guns for usage.

Angel Dust has a venomous bite.

Angel can sense incoming storms from a mile away.

Since Angel is based on the jumping spider, he is able to jump incredible heights. In "The Show Must Go On", Angel was able to quickly dodge Niffty in a pipe and jump during the battle against the Exorcists.

Angel Dust is a very talented singer.

Angel is fluent in both Italian and English.

Angel can handle weapons with ease, specifically firearms and explosives, and is profound at using tommy Guns.

Angel demonstrates some impressive flexibility as he is able to remove chains that were restraining him with ease, as well as pole dance at Valentino's club.

Althought he prefers men, Angel also can feel attraction to others gender like women.

"Angel Dust" is Angel's chosen all-encompassing persona name, and one he uses exclusively in place of his actual name. It is intended as multipurpose for both his drag queen persona and his sex-work persona.

Due to the fact he frequently stars in pornography now, Angel no longer watches pornography himself.

Angel enjoys drag.

Although Angel has slept with many people, according to Vivziepop he has not been in as many relationships, and the ones he has been in haven't exactly worked out.

Although Angel is very protective of his actual feelings, what he would like, deep down, is a solid relationship built on respect, with someone who values him and wants to be with him. However, a stable and healthy relationship is not something he expects, being a porn star who resides in Hell.

Angel has personal kinks that he is into and enjoys BDSM.

Whenever Angel is outside of work and doesn't feel the need to maintain his public persona, he prefers to dress in very cozy, comfortable, unsexualized clothing.

Vivziepop described Angel as a character with very strong themes of duality, citing his drag persona specifically as a big part of it. His very inhuman form reflects the subject of self-image, describing it as a more universally understandable issue that could be conveyed with a less humanoid character like his.

When asked about the dots underneath Angel's eyes, Vivziepop revealed they are actually two sets of smaller eyes, but they are also designed to resemble freckles.

Angel's favorite color is pink.

It is revealed in the ADDICT music video that Angel has PTSD-esque flashbacks and is dealing with possible depression after having to endure serious abuse at the hands of his sadistic boss, Valentino.

Vivziepop thinks that Angel is somewhat indifferent to keeping up with trends in Hell. He is interested in keeping up with fashion, but is not particularly interested in technology in general. He's on the fence with the more online aspects of tech.

Angel would be good at using Hell's equivalent of a mobile phone for its intended purpose, rather that he would enjoy its capacity to take photos.

Angel is not a picky eater, as he enjoys food in general, especially Italian dishes and well-prepared meals. But, he is also not opposed to junk food every so often.

Angel is described as a relatively good cook, especially when it comes to Italian dishes. His favorite dishes are lasagna and ravioli.

Angel doesn't care much for candy, but really enjoys fruit. The closest thing to candy he would enjoy would be chocolate covered strawberries.

Angel can play both the trumpet and accordion, although neither especially well. He can also read sheet music.

Angel's drag costume consist of fake large black eyelashes, with a large voluptuous wig designed to frame his face, a sparkling black top is part of his long red dress. The bottom of the dress appears to be composed of four rounded, petal-like shapes. Each of these shapes has a dark, heart-shaped pattern in the center. When dressed like that, Angel also has one painted little black heart on each one of his cheeks, he also uses a rosy to red lipstick.

Angel Dust has a lipstick kissing fetish, which means he loves leaving marks of his kisses with his lipstick when he is dressed in drag, turning him on greatly.
