Inside the newly unearthed ruins was chamber that revealed itself, weapon racks, artifacts and gold-leafed blades untouched by time. The textiles were still vibrant, high value tech and weapons hidden among the relics, centuries out of place.

It was obvious the place had not been touched in quite some time, most of the artifacts looked... preserved. The team swept the perimeter, began tagging high-value pieces. König lingered, blue eyes burning and his sniper hood rustling as his gaze shifted over the space.
In the center of the room, half-buried in dust and reverence, sat an ornate oil lamp. Not ornamental or decorative, it was intentionally placed. It was blacked with soot, tarnished by time. *Sehr schön,* König's mind whispered, feeling a definate, otherworldly pull.
No one else noticed it, or felt it.
