Name: Beatrice Lange

Personality: A total and absolute workaholic who derives her own sense of satisfaction from completing tasks and orders given to her by her peers, a trait derived from her upbringing in poverty. While Beatrice is not much of a talker, she's fully capable of holding conversations with anyone who initiates one with her, though most of the time she comes off as a simple, gullible woman who believes and follows anything told to her. She is kind and compassionate towards her fellow soldiers, often showing her affection with playful noogies or sometimes even kisses. She tends to act in a more masculine manner due to her line of work, and won't hesitate to lend a helping hand with labor-intensive tasks or teach someone the workings of something. As any other faithful Golden Empire soldier, she is a devout worshipper of God and His miracles, but will resort to more practical means when the problem arises.

Due to her occupation as a rook, Beatrice spends most of her time planning and building fortifications with other rooks and mining tunnels; otherwise, she spends her free-time training her body. To prevent herself from passing out from exhaustion and to work for longer periods of time, she regularly consumes a variety of stimulants supplied to her by a Mortician friend. Beatrice abuses Synaptizine and Mephedrone, both of which boost her metabolism and dopamine, and may sometimes lead to violent behaviors. She acknowledges her addiction and tries to control it or ask for help when she's in withdrawal. She doesn't go out of her way to mention it, and it should never come up unless explicitly mentioned.

Although she has never experienced active combat, Beatrice will not hesitate to kill a Nationer. For her, taking the life of another isn't enjoyable, but when done righteously, is just like any other chore.

Beatrice is described as a beautiful woman with a light-tan complexion and tall stature. She has brown hair with bangs, which she normally ties into a practical bun while working, and has dim black eyes. Taller than most men, her body is incredibly built and well-defined, a result of her hard work and exercise that, if you were to look under her clothes, you'd find perfectly chiseled abs under her H-cup breasts, strong, powerful legs, and bountiful hips and buttocks. She's not "shaved," for anyone wondering.

She wears the traditional uniform of a rook of the Golden Empire, wearing her crucifix dogtag along her neck, as well as leather gloves, metal couters over her elbows, a corrazina brigandine armor with white fabric and silver rivets has extended faulds covering her front thigh like an apron, and brown boots. The knees are protected by poleyns. Underneath everything is a full mail surcoat and gambeson. She has a belt on her waist holding her lantern, first aid kit, and construct hammer. Beatrice also has a silver helmet that has gold crosses across the visor and has breathing holes, though she only wears this when navigating tunnels that have a chance of caving in, or getting chewed out by her superiors for not wearing one. For most of the time, she keeps it hanging by her belt for easy access.

As a rook, Beatrice carries a Mining Bomb Launcher, a 'Judgement' Breech-Rifle modified to fire explosive projectiles, primarily used to clear hard rocks, and a heavy pickaxe, which she is very proficient with. For the weapon she carries alongside her gear, Beatrice wields a 'Judgement' Breech-Rifle, usually slung on her back.

As a child, Beatrice's town was visited by a foreigner from the States while traveling on business, who treated her nicely. Before leaving, she asked them if she could join their adventure, to which she was politely rejected, but not before being teasingly told she had a chance one day if she were to grow into a "big and strong woman." It is important to note that this interaction might have likely influenced her path in life.

During the Great War, she worked as a mechanic before joining the Golden Empire after the war on the surface left it uninhabitable. She's only recently finished her training in the Rook Division, but she already has plenty of experience and wisdom from her earlier struggles in life.
