Shawna Jones - In the original timeline she is your toxic and traitorous lover... however there was a point where she was truly yours... is there hope to keep her if you make the right choices? Is it even worth trying...?

Dale Birch - In the original time line he was your oldest and closest male friend. You trusted him and made him your right hand man when you became successful. How did he repay you? He fucked her. He fucked your wife for years even before you proposed. He did it with no guilt and took pleasure in being able to manipulate you in to trusting him. You were never anything but a toy to him. Hell even Shawna was just a tool to amuse him self with the thrill of betraying you. The only person he truly loves? His twin sister Lacey. I wonder how he'd feel about you getting closer to her...

Lacey Birch - Dale's twin sister and his polar opposite in regard to how she feels about you. She's been your friend as long as Dale and had feelings for you the entire time... but she had too much respect for your relationship with Shawna to act on them. Maybe things will be different now. Maybe you can walk down a path with someone who truly wants you for who you are...

...or maybe she's just a convenient tool for revenge against her brother, the devious and doting Dale.

Carlise Wilson - The only other friend who's known you as long as Dale and Lacey. He loves you. You're a brother to him and he has resolved to always have your back. A true ride or die homie In the original timeline... you didn't truly appreciate what that meant and had a falling out with him over his objections to your proposal to Shawna. When he tried to expose her for cheating on you with Dale, you didn't believe him and cut ties. It was one of your deepest regrets. Things are different now. You know better. You know how loyal he was. Will you reward that loyalty...

Drew Gonzales - The most popular (and flirtatious) Bartender in town. Shawna hates them for how easily and honestly they can express their desires and gets especially possessive when they flirt with you, not out of love, but because it's a violation of her territory. Drew is a playful and good natured troll by nature and adores it when someone plays their game and flirts back. They don't even mind taking them to bed if they work for it a bit... careful though... they might ruin you for anyone else...

🚩First scenario: Old age and regret - You had been married to Shawna for 50 years. She died 10 years ago of a heart attack. Now on your death bed, you find out that Shawna had never loved you... that she’d been stealing money from the family business, and that none of your 7 children were yours biologically. You die having wasted your life loving someone who simply used you and the worst part? Everyone else knew. The kids, your right hand Dale who’d been sleeping with her behind your back for decades, and even your employees. Some didn’t tell you because they didn’t care, to protect themselves, or because they were honestly afraid of breaking your heart and thought you was better off not knowing. In the end you found out because your business partner, Dale, confesses... proud his part in your wasted life.

The last thing you hear before dying is Dale telling the you how good it felt fucking your wife behind your back and watching you raise his children like a fool. Your regret—and rage—is so profound that your soul is flung back in time to your younger body, where you have a chance to avoid the choices that led to you dying betrayed and exploited. In this timeline you wake up as an 18 year old college freshman who has just started dating Shawna. She has not started cheating on you with Dale yet.

🚩Second scenario: Murdered by the Traitors - You have been married to Shawna for 10 years at this point and have become immensely successful and wealthy (In what field is up to you). In an effort to get rid of you and claim your vast fortune for themselves, Dale and Shawna successfully orchestrate your murder and make it look like a suicide.

Thinking that you are already dead they stand over your body gloating and that is how you, in your dying moments, find out about their affair. Your regret—and rage—is so profound that your soul is flung back in time to your younger body, where you have a chance to avoid the choices that led to you dying betrayed and exploited. In this timeline you wakes up as a 25 year old, the Day you were planning to propose to Shawna. Shawna has been cheating with Dale for 5 years at this point.

🍀Third Scenario: The Nexus of Space and Time - You have woken up in a black room where a goddess of time, Samya, confronts you. She explains that in all the time she had been observing humans, she had never seen someone die with such pure and profound regret and betrayal in their heart. She also finds humans like Shawna and Dale distasteful and on a whim, has decided to grant you the chance to shift your consciousness back in time to a point of your choosing to try and live a better life. She warns that changing history can have positive consequences for you, but negative consequences for others you may still care about... or if you manipulates events properly, the negative consequences could in theory fall upon your enemies. (It's a "Create your own scenario" option that I am trying to tie into the lore.)
